AI Copilot can now do end to end flights again!

Tested 2 short flights so far.

I haven’t seen this fix in ai pilot as yet. Let us know more about the specific airports and details. Previously, ai pilot was able to execute landings which was helpful for training purposes. If you have any other tricks for making ai pilot function as it once did, let us know. (I haven’t seen any report from Microsoft developers themselves that they believe they fixed the problems with ai pilot.)

They seem to mostly ‘fix’ it. Basically back to where it was before the Japan update.

I downloaded the latest 13 gig update. I then set a flight plan from lax to sfo. The ai pilot seems to work, finally. Congratulations to the developers who listened and fixed.

The AI Pilots is often hampered by his surroundings, and things beyond his control :slight_smile:

  • Does not help the AI Pilot when the .cfg files tells him the Approach speed for the plane = 0 knots. (No wonder he approaches in a virtual stall !!!)

  • Does not help the AI Pilot, when AI planes are parked in incorrect parking areas, and the AP Pilot hits them when he tries to taxi on the correct taxiways.

  • Does not help the AI Pilot when ground staff get in the way when he is trying to taxi and park, as instructed by the parking Marshall.

  • Does not help the AI Pilot when ATC tells him to do the wrong thing

  • Does not help the AI Pilot when ATC does not give him the option to request what he needs to do,

On the other hand, he was able to land for the first time in months at KSMO! I think it is amazing the amount of work that is being done on this simulation by the developers.

The laundry list is long.

Tell me you did not make a 3D of Otto, and make him a Co-Pilot !!!

If its really there in the cockpit, how did you do that.

Imagine an app, that allowed you to take a few Pictures with your phone of someone (namely youself), and then it made a 3D model to put into MSFS.

I’s swipe my credit card for that, over yet another Airport or FSX converted plane.
I’d have all my family working at the airports as well !!!
