LEO Bodnar USB

I upgraded my Siatek Pro Flight yoke with a Leo Bodnar USB controller for aleron and elevation. Its recognised and I can map the axis fine and in the control panel i can see the Axi working, but when im in game and on the cockpit the yoke its flying all over the place . Moved up down left and right on its own. Has anyboy come across this yet.

I do also have a G29 steering wheel plugged in at the same but that is not mapped to anyting at all

hey man, I have the same setup. Leo soldered into the logitech yoke. All good on my side. Disconnect everything that may be interfering, or make sure the axis are not assigned in the controls (for the steering wheel). Also check in the windows controller properties or whatever that is called…that you are getting a correct input from Leo. Nothing in the game should be distorting this input (as long as you’re not flying in a hurricane that is…)

Why do you need the controller?

I have a zendesk ticket open specifically for the BUO836-xx series as I can’t get any of mine to work properly (I have a 737NG cockpit and I have three of these cards interfacing for yoke/throttle quad/gear lever.

For the flight yoke. The default sietek has hide dead zones by default and this mod removes this

Same problem with a BU0836A

MSFS Control config panel detects the Bodnar controller but insists all analog controls are buttons.

had a play around with mine last night, I originally had the Bodnar plugged into the usb on the back of the flight yoke. When I unplugged it from there and plugged it into the 8 port usb adaptor I got the same thing. Recognised but erratic controls in the game (fine in windows control panel). I then plugged it directly into a usb port on the PC and it worked fine for around a hour then went a bit funny again. Also found that after a while it I used the POV switch on the Siatek it all went ■■■■ up again.

Turned out to be a combination of less than optimal configuration interface and pilot error.

The pot control does show up and can be assigned to an axis.

Still at breadboard stage so no extended flight data.

Think i may have sorted this in the end. Tried X-plane and got the same thing. One thing i had not done was to deselect the axis controls for the siatek. once i removed these X Plane worked fine. So fired up MFS and did the same cleared the axis controls for the flight yoke. Low and behold it was all good. dont know why i had not thought of that in the first place.

I use 2 BU0836 devices. One for a Throttle unit including rudder and brakes ( analogue ) and the other for a button box which is a F16 ICP in another game. both recognised by the game and all buttons and axis assigned as desired. They are both plugged direct into the PC. Use the windows calibration tool and make sure the buttons work as advertised in Leos utility.

I have just installed a BU0836A board, calibrated in Windows, assigned in FS2020. Nothing else assigned to pitch and roll. Once I get airborne the plane is uncontrollable and dives into the ground! No problems with Xplane 10. Any ideas as to what the ptoblem is please? Thank you.

Problem solved. I had mapped the x and y axis to elevator up/down and aeleron left/right instead of elevator axis and aeleron axis.

Make sure x and y axis are not active in yolk control set. Only in Bu0836.
