I haven’t done the training modules, so I don’t know what plane and panel you’re in, but the course deviation indicator (CDI) selector may need to be manually set to the inbound course. And if it’s a G1000, GTN, or GNS, make sure the CDI is set to VLOC or VOR 1 or NAV 1 (green needles, not GPS with magenta needles).
Pictures, airports, aircraft may help.
Because it is a lesson…cannot make changes. Try it. I want to know if i need to do something.
All your instruments should work, training or not.
I would try following the above advice first.

Please take the lesson and report back.
Then let me know if it is me or FS.
It is lesson 6, not 7. ILS approach
Yes. Only it’s more like 80 degrees. I thought I was doing something wrong at first, then realised I wasn’t but the sim was.
Dial the cdi to the runway heading which is listed in the lesson briefing.
If this is the issue you’re seeing, look at the workaround for it here:
It appears to be fixed in SU15 beta, so when the final version of SU15 is issued, you shouldn’t have the problem any longer.
