Does anyone have any information about this aircraft from PASSIONFLY? It’s already on sale on the Marketplace but still not cheap but can’t find any reviews for it and the product description doesn’t include any information for example of what sound set is included or anything like that.

Old biplanes are right up my ally but I’m also waiting on more info and reviews. I really hope it does has a custom soundpack, it’d be really great to hear a decent Bristol Pegasus radial in the game.

Yes a review has already dropped for it and things aren’t really looking that great for it. I’d expect a bit better at least for the price point.

Thanks for that! I love the aeroplane but it looks quite expensive for what it is, even if it is on sale at the moment.

Hello, I had had a look to the marketplace pictures, the linked video and some original shots from the plane. Also, I think the price is not worth to buy it at the moment. Modelling and texturing are not up-to-date in my sight, furthermore the representation of the virtual plane does not match the original one, especially the tail section, the engine and the cockpit. But it has some potential to improve the current state to another level, which will be might change my opinion.

Bullet dodged! Always a shame because often times the only representation of classic aircraft like this you’ll find are subpar, but at least they’re often cheap or free. $34.99 for this is laughable.

It’s kind of nice to see such an obscure aircraft rendered for the sim, this was clearly a work of love for someone but… yeah at such a price, this ain’t it.

Visually it doesn’t look bad I guess, so it definitely has potential. Considerably better that many of the ports and freeware plane we’ve seen. Even better than some of the payware aicraft. Flightmodel seems to be rudimentary to say the least, I would never expect a plane like that to reach its top speed that easily in level flight and it seems to handle like a toy.
With the lack of ANY systems on an aircraft like this, I will never ever pay more than 20,-€ bucks for an old biplane. Look at the DC Stearman or the Big Radials Nieuport 17: they seem both considerably better than this but are in the 15,- - 18,-€ range.
So pricing for this is just beyond ridiculous.

Would I be lying by thinking this was just ported over from FSX, P3D and the like? You could get an on sale study level plane for that price.
The marketing is terrible for it. There’s literally no description of what the devs are bringing to the package, just something that looks was copy pasted from Wikipedia. Not much effort and asking for Carenado, Indiafoxtecho or DC Designs money from someone no ones heard of is a big red flag. Smells like Captain Sim level shenanigans unfortunately.

They have tried to fool theior customers for many years. Their 777 was garbage yet they priced it the same as PMDG and with that and their describtion to exclusively bring the missing engine models PMDG had promised for years they aimed to rise expectations. The 757 looked good but was very basic already, all above not flying like a 757, the 767 was even worse. The last acceptable offers were the FSX only addons, Tristar and that stuff at that time. From then it went downwards. The products themselves probably still somewhat okay for many people who don’t request high accuracy but the price tags haven’t matched the product for a long time. MSFS was just the perfect opportunity to split price and product even more for unaware customers. The 777 was clearly meant to take advantage from the first time of good believe to get the money, then add the text about what you actually get to be save to continue to rip off new customers and the Herc is the recent proof that you can make a lot of money with just everyting, you just have to be ruthless enough. It’s the internet after all.

Has anyone the changelog of v1.0.3? Most of these old critics seem to be fixed. But a little proof would be nice.
