Let's collect locations with water masks already applied

Yes that square thing seems to be new. But I dont see any clouds there.

The water looks quite milky on the other side, but I think it looked like that before.

My Island also seems to have a different green tint? As if I got other textures than you. I try to replicate your view to see if the color changes. I also have got some more textures in that crater lake.

Hmm yep looks a bit different I think ? But I see that square thing.

I checked; the clouds are due to the FSDG Mayotte airport (as well as the textures), however the square is indeed something new and due to MSFS base.
I actually bought the scenery after seeing how nice the watermasks were in that area following the world update.

I flew over Bora Bora today and it also has water masks - not surprising given that it is a featured destination in the software.

They also gave it a custom modelled mountain with SU5.

new watermasks added if anyone can anyone discover which ones are they aplied?

The Gold Coast area in Australia has updated water masking in the inland rivers - take off from Southport Airport.

Wow guys, it is hard to follow all the water masks added by Asobo and discovered by you all!

Someone knowledgable could do a map on which everyone could mark a new water mask discovered. This POI map (much appreciated) is an example, produced by one guy however : Microsoft Flight Simulator Map - Google My Maps

I noticed the SU7 release notes included “Various watermasks have been added around the world”. A few new ones (including some masks that had appeared earlier in the year, then mysteriously got removed) appear around the far north of New Zealand:

Haven’t read through all of this topic but I ran across some great water shore masking in the southern Caribbean

New Australia Update has added a lot I believe.

This is YRTI Rottnest Island. More vivid still in real life, but at least there’s something now!

someone can check the watermask of the coral reef near Cains? i think most of them are low quality and blurry

These are a few images collected since the WU7 of the australian barrier reef

I think images says it all, and this is only a few miles of the great barrier i could not imagine the entire one

thats pretty bad looking. in the promo video they made it seem like the great barrier reef was in full HD and spectacular

looking awful and sad to see the promo vid can be so misleading that showed an almost flawless water mask in the region.

Marketing can be very misleading, they have created a good watermask just for the bushtrip.
