Is anyone else noticing that when setting up custom weather, and cranking up the lightning value really high, or even at 100%… there just isn’t much lightning?
I played around with the custom weather last night, creating thick layers of dense storm clouds, which looked really cool overall, but I had the lightning value set to 80%, and I only saw the occasional flash of lightning… like, maybe one flash every 20~30 seconds, which just doesn’t seem like a realistic frequency for a big thunderstorm. Even pushing it to 100% didn’t make any real difference. Am I missing something?
I also have a huge collection of weather presets from Weather Preset Pro 2.0 (WPP) that has a large number of thunderstorm presets already configured, and those didn’t fare any better.
