List of bug avoidance measures for MSFS2024 Career Mode (So far)

It seems to me that they ding for landing lights in broad daylight local time if it’s night GMT?

yes - just keep your landing lights on permanently for now.

I have the same issue, it took me down 2 levels of reputation in a single mission even tough everythig went fine with the flight.

Had many of the same issues as above but I’m still getting started at LvL25. Currently, my biggest complaint is the C172 during circling. The trim bounces from one extreme to another. The plane jolts up and down in sudden moves. The plane is ‘no fun’ to fly this way. On final it seems to settle. Is this normal?

Also, I can’t seem to make over 900Cr (even on Missions that have 8000+Cr as a reward) on any cargo mission even without any performance hits. Is this normal?

There are so many bugs (visual, getting set up on closed runways, wrong Notices…) and I’m just in the starting levels of the Career Mode, hard to believe Asobo didn’t notice these. They do use the same program we do right?

Edit: Can Asobo set up options for weather in Career? Clear days/no wind would be a nice option for those of us casual flyers. At least have the option. 2) It’d be nice to be able to filter missions (by airplane, min reward, type of mission, even size of airport).

Nope these dont seem to generate at all, neither freelance or company. My VIP Pc12 can not do a singular mission

I have not observed this. You’re saying the trim is moving stop to stop, uncommanded? Is autopilot on?

If it’s doing that, I’m guessing you have a binding that’s interfering.

There are wishlist items out there for both of these.

Baffling. I can confirm I had every single bug on this list too.

Hello

It is impossible to assign a functional trim on the H125 helicopter, which is very annoying, especially for long missions.

Good luck to all

Bonjour,

Impossible d’assigner un trim fonctionnel sur L’hélicoptère H125, ce qui est très embêtant surtout pour les missions un peu longue.

Bonne continuation à tous

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Every time I land during a mission (any kind), ATC tells me to take the first taxi out of the runway. There is no reply (via quickreply or opening the ATC window) but each time I enter the taxiway (well before the stopping point) I get a penalisation for not having communicated to ATC my exit.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
DA 62, C172 (all I used)

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Everytime

The ATC logic on entering or exiting runways for backtaxi is flawed.

No autopilot in any of my missions. I think, and it’s only me thinking, it has to do with thermals and/or weather. Other airplanes have the trim going erratic also during missions but settle during landing sequence. I’ve checked Assistances and AI trim is off. Other times, there’s zero issues. Baffled.

Now I’ve learned the Cessna 208 has a steady trim during missions, why this one and not the others?

With that said, I really am learning to enjoy the Career mode. I think it’s a great feature. But once this trim chaos is fixed it won’t be so stressful though.

I’m having trouble understanding because I haven’t seen it. Trim is a physical control that has an indicator. Its actuated either by button or axis or automation.

You’re saying that you’re observing that indicator go from stop to stop in turbulence without being commanded by you or the autopilot to do so? I’ve seen pitch go all over the place, but I’ve never seen trim move uncommanded without some sort of binding or automation (including assistance) controlling it.

I know we are no where near mentioning polish items with all the major bugs right now, but I also noticed the Tail numbers on your career planes seem to change quite frequently, seems like whatever randomizer for employee mode continues to half work for your owned planes… or at least they stay consistent until you fly the same type of plane in another mode. I feel like a random tail number should be generated on purchase, and be stored information and visible when managing the aircraft… and stay consistent.

It’s only with Missions. I was able to take a ‘good trim’ video in free flight with C172 but the video screen shooter thingy doesn’t want to work again or I was going to post the issue. Taking off in missions, trim is solid, it’s only when getting to the spot the passengers want to observe/take pictures, the Blue Doughnut, that’s when the the trim goes erratic.
