Hi all, just after some help please. I have an issue where I save a flight plan on little Nav map. Go to MSFS and go to load the flight plan. Trouble is I can’t see the flight plan in the folder where I saved it. Outside of the flight sim it’s in the folder when I have the game running and try to load it it’s not there.
Any ideas? Thanks very much.
I save mine to windows Documents folder. Easy to find.
Hi there yes so do I but it’s not there when I come to load it. It’s as if msfs doesn’t recognize the file type. Its odd.
Export fligh plan as MSFS 2020 file (.pln) not save
Click File > Export Flight Plan as MSFS 2020 PLN
Are yes that’s great thanking you very much. I’ve always saved. Great I’ll give it a try later. Thank you so much.
You’re very welcome. Report back mate and fly safe.
Moved to Tools & Utilities that is more appropriate.
You might also consider using the Multi-Export function.
You can choose which format(s) you wish to export, and their native folder.
These shots are from my work machine that doesn’t have MSFS installed, but what I do at home is set these two options, and their corresponding paths. I can then just press a button to export the plan in a format that MSFS understands, and in the default flight plan path so I don’t have to hunt for it, and it also drops it into the TDS 750 folder so I can pull the flight plan into the “Catalog” from outside the sim. Simples!
Spot on buddy, worked a charm. Thanks for that.
You’re very welcome. Fly safe.
