Have you managed to replicate such a promising success? 
I can´t fly this week as I´m flying all over the Europe for business, but would love to hear and see some optimistic news… it seems that the beta testing has slowed down and my hopes for a pre-SU7 stability of weather are waning.
Well, did another flight yesterday just below 300 nm as I wanted to see the behaviour. Live weather worked on the first leg. On the flight back however, I had different cloud layers, but standard wind 225/03.
So, the whole thing is really quite erratic. I really hope the hotfix is going to cure that mess.

Yeah, I was able to make it work just once, that one time when I did the tests. Tried to replicate, but wasn’t able. It seems to happen randomly. For some reason, the communication with the servers works for just that one specific time, and then goes back to normal.
Right now, I am struggling to make Live Weather works at all. Sometimes it loads on the beginning of the flight, sometimes don’t. Sometimes I have correct winds/temperature/pressure, but no clouds. And everything always goes away after 300 NM. So I decided to try some of the activities (landing challenges and bush trips) for the first time, since I don’t need Live Weather for them. It’s either that or choose shorter flights (and hope that the weather loads). But after all this time, it’s really frustrating to have to keep “adapting” to the bugs instead of fly as I wish.
It would be good if we could roll back the game to SU6 and reinstall just the files from SU7, but it’s not possible, it’s all or nothing. I am on the same boat as Michailus, hoping that the next hotfix will fix this by coincidence (since it’s not even acknowledge as a bug). Let’s have faith…

Agreed: I think, Asobo should roll that whole live-weather-thing back to SU6. That also had it’s flaws but worked ok all in all.
And for the future they’d rather stick to smaller updates with clearly defined topics. That would allow for easier testing and easier rolling back, if anything goes wrong.

I dont have live weather for several days.
Do you continue fly without real live weather?
Are there any solutions?
I honestly can’t play without live weather… clear skies everywhere.
Happened to me every flight 5 times in a row, Live Weather is normal at the start and after a certain time/distance flown haze and fog on the ground is depicted but no cloud layers are visible anywhere just clear skies and 225/03.

I use third part weather because it actually works. Then when Asobo gets their things together, i stop. Round robin style.
Well, yes and no. Rex Weather now suffers from altimeter jumps everytime it loads new data, usually rendering my passenger simulation software to enter a descend phase, which isn’t desirable at all. Plus the MSFS live weather just has no competition when it comes to rendering the complex weather.
We need to monitor closely when and under which conditions the weather injection stops after roughly 300NM into the flight and whether the planned hotfix will fix this or no.

Are you on beta, or on the “stable” release?
Both beta and stable release present this problem for me.
On Facebook, I see many posts by people who have the same problem. So this seems to be quite common.
Please, everybody who has that, post a bug report on zendesk. This hopefully pushes Asobo to have look into this.

This is happening with me also. Every flight I do my weather starts fine then stops. 225/03 knots, 1013,29.92 no clouds at all.

I was thinking, does anyone who is having this trouble have a download loop when loading an update from microsoft? I have trouble updating my sim when they come out. The only solution I found was changing some internet settings. I wonder if this is the reason why we are having trouble with weather. It loads initially then when it needs to update its as if it can’t download the info so it reverts back to default. 29.92 etc. Just wondering why everyone isn’t having this problem? Thanks for the help. I will try to switch my internet settings like I did when downloading updates and see if that helps with this.

Hello - thank you for joining the “club of chosen ones” suffering from this peculiar bug. I myself have never encountered any issues whilst installing the simulator or its updates. However, if you make changes to your network setup and these help with the 300 NM, 225/03kn issue, please share what kind of network settings you made, that would really be helpful. 
I think I have found a fix, I disabled IPV6 in my network adapter settings, it seems to have done the trick.

That is what I had to do to download the updates, for some reason with IPV6 on it would go into the download loop. I have disabled it and am about to see if it fixes my weather issue. I’ll give a report.
