Sim is stuck at 0% Loading Language.

4 attempts today with a reboot in between. It was working fine yesterday. speedtest.net is showing me with 980 Mbps up and 960 down

I have the exact same issue. After about 25 emails with ZenDesk with different ideas, I was proved correct that the issue is actually with my XBox account. When I created a new account I was able to load FS - FINALLY. The new problem is that my Aviator Edition is attached to my old account and they say there is no way for them to transfer it. Worst customer service ever.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 loads as far as the Loading Language page, but never proceeds beyond 0%.

Fresh install, no Mods added. Performed a repair via Xbox app, however, exactly the same issue

  2. Loads as far as the Loading Language… page, but never progresses
  3. No network activity. Have tried the recommendation to disable AV (using built in Microsoft Defender), but makes no difference.

At present, I have removed all peripherals, however, I do have a Logitek flight yoke and controller, which have been attached. To test, I have uninstalled all unused HID devices and the Saitek USB drivers, however, no difference.

Do you guys have a frame limiter on? Because that’s what caused it for mine to be stuck.

I just Installed 2024 for the first time. When loading up, It asks me to connect to the XBox Network, I click it and come tpo the Splash loading screen. However, I’m stuck at “0% - Loading Language”

Is this normal on first load of the sim? Been like this for about 20min now. Have 1GB Fiber internet and Speedtest shows 980sih up and down.

Moved to User Support Hub since not SU1 related.

I was able to play the sim between Release up until January.

I then left the sim for a month.

Now when I try to load up the sim - I am now also stuck on Loading Language: 0% indefinetly.

I havent figured or found a solution yet.

Actually.

In my case, it was a problem with Steam being stuck in Offline Mode.

Even though I was Online - if steam is offline ( or invisible ), it somehow also affected MSFS.

After resolving my steam issue, the sime suddenly started loading..

… weird.

Its the same for me , i try many things
But it didnt work and i still blocked at 0%

Hi - got the same problem today - after approx 20 min’s i continued loading. Not a network issue on my side.

Same here. Just bought and cannot get past 0% (waited up to one hour).

This is steam edition if it does matter. Network is fast, so no issues there.

Im having the same issue with the Steam version, I just paid the 120 to get the prem deluxe and it refuses to go past 0% loading languages, I did a complete wipe of my pc and tried again, still nothing.

The game pass version loads in after 10 minutes or so, the steam one ive had going almost to the 2 hour refund limit. Im unwilling to test any further as $120 isnt chump change and im going to want my money back.

What do we have to do to get some official support on this?

Exact same issue here. Works fine on the xbox app, but on Steam it won’t go past 0% loading. These are both on the same pc.

Can we get some sort of acknowledgement that this will be fixed? Since these posts have been going on for a few months and so far nothing.

Connection speed is not an issue for me either. Downloaded the game in 2m. Also tried uninstalling and redownloading. Didn’t fix it.

Tried starting it offline as suggested by the - many many MANY - discussions elsewhere on the internet of lots of people having this same bug. Didn’t fix it either. Just always stuck at 0% “loading language”

I had same issue and found this fix on Reddit:

Guys, I found the solution!

* Disconnect the network
  • Run the MSFS24 and start it
    
  • After a while, you should get message that the game needs an internet connection
    
  • Connect the network
    
  • After a while, you will be prompted with the XBOX login window
    
  • Log in and it should start downloading
    
  • Microsoft is a piece of (censored).

Yes, as mentioned in the message immediately above yours. That fix is known, the problem is it doesn’t work for most people. Glad you’re one of the lucky ones :slight_smile:

Same problem here. Installed yesterday and no prompt to log in to Xbox Network , immediately passing to the intro and stuck at loading language 0%

I’ve tried everything : cutting the internet, lock/unlock fps limit, log in xbox app/store with same acount, gaming service repair tool, testing the beta etc…

Brand new PC up to date with CoreUltra 7 / 64Gb / RTX5070, 1st soft installed with Steam, and it won’t work…

No solution ??

Also same Problem here. Got a brand new PC for my son and MSFS2024 via Steam and now we are stuck at 0% “Loading Language” for half a day. The “Login to Xbox” Button on the lower left appears, we click it but no login window evers shows up.
Please don’t tell me that as a result of SimUpdate 1 we can no longer install the game…
Already tried the trick of pulling the network cable, but that did not really help.

Microsoft / Adobe - this is SOOOO frustrating…

For who it didn’t work the first when you do this method, wait approximately 5 minutes when the game gives you the message “you should connect to play in the game”

After that it works for me and I can finally play

I’ve been trying every few hours. After many attempts, this last time it worked. I didn’t change anything at all versus the previous attempts, so I guess something must’ve changed server side.
