Loading the A310 leads to CTD

I’m confirm, reload the da62, and now, it’s good !! thank’s Arsstream456 ! but it’s not good for 310 always…

DA62 gone again! Ctd. I give up. Seems as if it only worked after reloading. Don’t want to do that every time.

Hi all, anyone with this issue persisting (provided your CPU supports the AVX instruction set); please ensure your navdata is up to date, your windows is up to date, and please try with an empty community folder. Let me know either way if any of those work

Mine is a i7 920 CPU and have navigraph updated and win10pro full updated, also community folder without anymore addons.
AVX is not a min. requirements of MSFS and all other aircraft open and runs well including complex airliners like fenix a320, leonardo md80 and pmdg 737 (all versions).

I recently found out that my CPU is not supporting AVX. So I don’t think the A310 will work for me until I upgrade my hardware. Any other aircraft work just fine

Luckily, I have the FBW A320 in MSFS and the DA-62 in XPlane ( which is nicer…) Would like this fixed tho’

I just tried the new 310 and have this issue as well.

I also have 2x Intel x5690 as well. It definitely sounds like AVX is the issue.

Hopefully a fix or workaround rolls out… I have no interest in upgrading my machine just for AVX support.

Someone already tried this?
Intel® Software Development Emulator

Its an AVX emulator.

Any news on your side? I have a I5 8400 which I’ve read that it’s supports AVX but I have ctds as well

If you are only having occasional issues with the A310 causing a CTD, that may be a different issue.

This topic is the inability to load the A310 at all.

No it’s not occasional, I can’t load it at all and I get a ctd

Is your community folder empty when making the test ?, which airport/runway are you testing with ? so that we can try to replicate. Have you tried at different airports ?

I’m having the same issue too. Empty community folder, safe mode, and nothing works. Once in a while it’ll load up just fine but most time i get CTD after clicking fly now. This just started for me i had no problems when the a310 first released.

I have never been able to use this aircraft on my older PC with Xeon CPU’s.

My system is a 5800x3d, rtx 3080 12gb, asus x570 p motherboard. A310 ctd’s every time. No problem with any other aircraft. Empty community folder reinstalled a310. Nothing helps Latest bios, etc.

Same. 5800x3d, rtx 4070, SU13, clicking Fly now: boom. Just this aircraft. Using navigraph data.

Can you try with navigraph data disabled ?

Just tried. Made no difference, immediate crash :frowning:

For those interested, the plane puts a log file in its /work folder. Every time you fly the plane (or attempt to) it will recreate it. When it CTDs, it never gets any further than these entries:

i just checked my log.txt. it looks the same as yours. i uninstalled and reinstalled the a310. no luck. CTD after clicking fly now.
