Needs adjusting please to 100%

This is the wierdest sensation, as the pilot you are offset to the left. So when taking off on your first go, don’t be surprised if you feel like you are plowing into the R hand side - feeling as though you need to level out . I found myself trying to correct it - my fault I did not examine the aircraft before getting in!

Lovely throaty engine sound though - typically BMW.

Left knob = volume and rt = “Feedback” direct translation. None of the other radio switches or knobs work!

1 Tiny spot where engine sounds are much louder in the cabin - Moving the interior up and down from this angle it is just here where it kicks in again but for only a moment before the sound dies again.

How come this topic was started 9 days ago when the plane was released yesterday and this topic was not to be seen? Just nice to know…

It was probably prepared in advance and just made publicly visible post release. It’s not a great conspiracy.

Are we expecting the manual to be released soon? I want to purchase this, but I am waiting on some more reviews and a manual to read up on.

Also I didn’t see a mention of who developed it? Would be nice to know

She’s got huge power on take off which seems to reduce once up. I don’t know if it’s just the visual ground effect but I did expect much more throttle response.
Otherwise easy to fly and a bit Carenado’ish once you get used to the offset pilots seat.

It’s not a great conspiracy, but Inibuilds, reads in marketplace description.

Did they type that out before the aircraft was released I wonder? :eyes: We need the timestamp to be sure

Wish the canopy was openable-and the door that opens not jumping you back to walk-around mode even when you have start flight with walk-around mode off.

I’m enjoying flying this so far, modelling texturing looks great and the engine sounds are decent. I agree that it would be nice to have a manual though and a big improvement if we could open the canopy.

Flew Berlin to Hamburg tonight and had good time admiring a beautiful looking plane!

I might be dumb but how do I get to the cabin? It won’t let me enter that way, I just pop into the cockpit.

Also, has anyone gotten the interior lighting to work? I have instrument lighting at 100% but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Cockpit is completely dark at night except for the pitot heat indicator

EDIT: If you start with the plane already running, interior lighting works as intended. If you start from cold and dark, it’s dysfunctional. I’m going to make a bug report.

EDIT 2: I can’t select the Heinkel in tags for bug reporting, so I guess I’ll keep that here for now

Oddly, opening the passenger compartment door put me in the cockpit.

Okay, the lighting issue is weirder than I thought. If you start on the runway (already running) at night, the instrument lighting works. If you start cold and dark or on the runway during the day, the instrument lighting doesn’t work at all.

And if you start already running at night to get the instrument lighting to work, the dial will initially be at 0% despite showing full brightness.

Other than this bug I’m enjoying the plane. Hoping for a fix because interior lighting issues are one of my big pet peeves in sim!

I used SHIFT + WASD:

Are you in 2020 or 2024? I’m in 2024 and the wall keeps me from getting back there.

Also, do the cabin lights work back there for passengers at night?

Probably not if the switches are in the cabin. Nothing was clickable in there.
If the power switch is in the cabin it might.
I felt the whole electrical system was a bit broken esp where the other person sits in the cockpit with only the 2 coms dials working.

Normally Inibuilds does a better job than this. Oh well, it was cheap enough.

The plane is too slow.

Cruise speed should be short of 300 kph. It barely reaches that speed with a firewalled engine and a mostly retracted radiator. Ease back the throttle and the speed drops to about 250 kph.

Max speed should be north of 340 kph. Even at sea level it only reaches 314 with completely retracted radiator.

Later variants were even faster of course.

Additionaly issue: The iconic lightning stripe is wrong. The last, upper zig-zag is located above the height of the exhausts and should intersect the round forward right hatch window at the almost very top.

Edit: The lightning stripe does not seem to be part of the texture as far as I can see…
