Any idea on where this picture was shot? I have seen this picture on loading screen, but it might be removed somehow. I’ve seen this picture so many times but I have no idea where to find this oil rig.

We had a group flight there the other weekend. Stunning scenery if you don’t look at the big gap in the mountain at the centre.

I just looked up pricing for that place. Two weeks at the four seasons is £39,286, though you can find some for less that £2,000.

:astonished: :dash:

That is crazy. I suppose the 2k option is sleeping in the outdoor toilet?

Mind you, I seen some TV programme here in UK (Inside The Ritz Hotel) and they have a top tier penthouse suite that is over Ā£100k PER NIGHT! Who would want to stay in London for that price! I don’t see the appeal… to SLEEP with your eyes shut, it’s costing you like 18k per hour lol

What’s the ICAO?

The closest airport is Ryan Field (2MT1), a private strip.
The closest paved is Glacier Park Intl. (KGPI).

Thanks. I’ll check these out. But my question was about that particular airport’s ICAO in the photo.

Thank you for the kind response. Lucky for you to be living in that area.

My question remains: there is a paved and long runway in that photo. Which airport is that then?

Anyone can suggest a location, please?

It was suggested this is the dock at Momella Lakes, Tanzania.
