Logbook Not Updating for Over a Year

The logbook hasn’t updated in over a year now, I have tried everything I could think of at this point,
switching accounts, enabling and disabling developer mode, removing everything from communities folder (and I have no add-ons from the marketplace). I’m really desperate for a solution as I have lost over 1000 hours of logs. I own the game on Microsoft store.

Yea I lost 2000hrs last year. It’s been broken a long time.

The logbook and ATC are probably the two weakest, most annoying parts of FS. I can see ATC as being complex but the logbook should not be. I gave up looking at mine as it’s been stuck on 93 hours for months after losing a hundred hours or so during SU10 update.

Yeah, I have started to log my hours manually it’s just incredibly annoying that I have to do so.
Hoping someone might have a solution.

It’s annoying that the logbook is still unreliable for so many people. I have resorted to a 3rd party tool (volanta). Another good logbook is SimToolkitPro.

Volanta looks interesting - i gather the logbook/tracking is part of the free option and the logbook works better than the FS built-in one?

Yes it’s part of the free offer. All logs are saved in the cloud. See Volanta — Your personal flight tracker

IIRC, simtoolkitpro saves the logs in a database on your own pc.

no better on the xbox. i have three deletions of my flight hours so far. but my statistics are all there. i dont really care about the hours it’s the flight plans and airports i found i miss.

The issue I have with those apps, specifically simtoolkitpro, is that they don’t have most small local airports in their database.
This is a huge downside for me as I fly to a lot of small airfields for FSEconomy.
Does Volanta have airfields like 35CO for example?

I have just today set this up, it does say that all entries are editable - not a fix but might help.

I was messing about in a G2 copter and it tracked my jaunts pretty well.

Yes:

Volanta works very well, although, it’s still a bit of a manual process to make sure it doesn’t mess up.

Still would like to see a solution to the logbook, but that seems quite unlikely.

Does Volanta connect across a network - simtoolkitpro was supposed to but will not work from a sim on pc and a logbook on a mac :frowning:

I was hoping i could use my laptop as the logging device, i don’t have any spare screen estate on the sim so can’t see a logging app if it has to run on there.
