Hi, I like to fly light GAs around Kent or southern England. To use the time economically, short hops into lesser known airfields and farm fields. I trace old RAF WW2 airfields, now residential sites, and land close as possible to simulate WW2 landings. Also, around Dorset etc. Can handle any plane including jets, floats, etc, by seat of the pants, rusty at instrument flying now. Can’t quite work out how to tie up with buddies. I don’t have a Spitfire in MS2020 yet, so I use the TBM in MS20 with similar performance and handling. Here is an FSX clip of sideslipping a Spit into WW2 Detling a/field location, note the beacon graphic to the right at touchdown. I have seen these physical beacons at Detling and at Brenzett, Romney in real life. The beacons locations are true today and are used for instrument flying in FSX, and probably in MS20 too.
