N9m Yes Please! I have my fsx conversion but I’d love a native one!!
OK I found a new one that I’ve never actually seen before.
Questair Venture, essentially started as a Malibu with 75% of the fat removed. 2000 FPM/240KT on N/A, up to 400KT when converted for racing. And actually knot a widowmaker
That one crashed and sadly we don’t have any others. I visited it a few times at Chino.
…but you know this IS available, right? The most recent release by Rara-Avis Sims.
No, thanks for the tip, I missed this.
Spanish Casa C212 Aviocar
widely used in the different spanish military forces but also, surprisingly for me, in the muddy strips of Alaska, like Ryan Air Alaska:
A classic Spanish plane giving everything as bushy plane in Alaska!
Heh that’s ambitious to just ‘make it’. Doesn’t look too bad. Definitely a bizarre plane that’s not nearly as bizarre as it looks apparently. The owners that completed them are very devoted. From what I understand it was a kit that was supposed to take 5000 hours to build but ended up closer to 15000, and they sold a lot of kits but not many ‘ventured’ to complete them. But in general, it’s very normal to operate in flight other than what you’d expect from the shorter moment gear geometry.
I reached out to the dev on that site for an update. He most recently was lead on (and folded into the branding for) the MilTech V-22 Osprey so I’ll see what he says.
Legal Eagle XL, because with FS 2020 we finally have scenery detailed to truly putt around VFR:
De Havilland Comet 1- Yeah, I know it was a death trap. BUT it was the very first jet airliner, and as such I think is worthy of preservation in the sim where it can’t hurt anyone and we can appreciate the stuff that made it so unique!:
737-100/200- I suppose Milviz is making one, but they’ve said they’re only doing one fuselage length and avionics package. I’d like to be able to fly the 737 as it was originally designed- as a regional jet, with the short engine nacelles, ineffective reversers stolen from the 727, and smoky engines with sucker doors!
My unusual ones are these
Boeing 747 SP
Boeing 757 200 combi
Boeing 737 400 combi
Dash 8 100 combi
Dash 8 400 combi
ATR 42 300 combi
Last chance for the Martin Mars is coming soon!
PS: Last flight of Hawaii Mars is scheduled for tomorrow, 11 August 2024.
I want to see the FFVS 22
Also the Saab 21 and 21R would be nice to have since we have the Saab 17 and JAS-39C in the game

Finally, I also want to see the Saab 29
Never flown a rotary in sim, though I had one lesson and a precautionary forced landing in real life, so get Googling for the Lockheed AH56A Cheyenne, which was quite a machine if you thought the AH64 to be something of a too snug fit.
Bless you the Observers book of aircraft from around 1967 or so.
I just learned about this aircraft today, but adding it to the list as I love unusual lookers! The Moynet M 360 Jupiter
I still think the DO-28 A/B should have been the LL over the condor any day.
But that or even the complete reworked skyservant would be cool.
The later version has an insane amount of possible liveries.
One I don’t think has been mentioned here is the Bristol 170 Freighter. This was another Mike Stone offering back in FS9 and I probably flew the wings off of it back in the day. It was a load of fun (see what I did there?) to max out the weights and head out into some remote fields.
Agreed! So funny, having seen the Victor just above it, I was thinking the Victor always looked like such a sad airplane to me, all slumping and sad faced and all, and then there was this!
