I prefer the colouring of the default Windows profile (on a LD Live) in 5.9.1 so very happy to use that.
Also, to add that although the marketplace plugin refused to install (& was only viewable in the web marketplace, not the Loupedeck app marketplace) I was able to get v2.4 from your github page and install that. Just tried a flight & everything I use it for (basic autopilot controls) worked perfectly.
The Caribou autopilot mod from 2020 works in 2024 \ with the plugin too which is a huge bonus to me (the Caribou was what I primarily āflewā in 2020).
recently i bought a louperdeck live. i am very new to this technique. i did some simple keyboard shortcuts (heading ON/OFF, Amplitude etc.) and it works . So far so good.
Just wanted to check out for your plugin in marketplaced, but its not there. Will it be available again or how can i get it? Also, how can i use the dials in MSFS2024?
Hello OnkelBobX,
Let me answer shortly trying to lift some burden from Calibx:
Loupdeck recently changed their software. The new version (6.x.x) is not compatible the original plugin created by Calibx. I suggest (as I did the same) to uninstall all loupdeck software and search instructions in ther website to install the previous version: 5.9.xx. I suppose you can donwload the plugin from Calibxās github page. (As I also dont find in the marketplace anymore)
Calibx actively developing a new version of the plugin which will be compatible with the new loupedeck version (6.x.x). There is already an alpha version of that plugin. (You can find the link for it above).
The production version of the plugin is working with MSFS2024 as somebody wrote it above. One thing to look at is to turn of āprofile switching / Dynamicā feature in the loupdeck software. And select the MSFS plugin manually in the loupdeck screen.)
Hi Calibx. I completely upgraded my flight sim for MSFS 2024 with Honeycomb hardware and multiple pop out screens for G1000 panels. I discovered Loupedeck Live and eventually made it to this forum. Im so excited about Loupedeck with the sim
I followed the notes here and 1st success, all the plane light switches are working woohoo!!! This is so awesome. Thanks Calibx for this huge community effort. I would make a donation for your efforts
Thank you Axro,
meanwhile i setup my louperdeck for msfs2024 (everything is based on keyboard shortcuts , also rotating control nubs (heading , high level etc). I think , it s good enough for me.
Hi CaliBx, I have Loupedeck and your plugin for MSFS 2024, 5.9.1 loupedeck driver. I have customized workspaces and panels on the Loupedeck, thanks to your profile with drag and drop. This by far the best interface platform, Loupedeck, compared to StreamDeck or any product. Im following this forum and you github hoping for updated profile for Loupedeck 6.x. Iām happy now, just hoping
At the moment I am having an issue where the 1st page of the profile does not show unless the loupedeck app is on the screen. If i click away from the app or send it to the system tray, I can not see the 1st page of the MSFS profile. (msfs2020). All other pages are visible, Dynamic mode is off.
If I am correct, not near my PC. But I had to open the loupedeck application, while the app is still open double click onto the purple MSFS2020 Plugin.
The problem is with MSFS 2020 or 2024 ? To fix them on your side you can create a new profile binded with the good MSFS exe, then configure it and active dynamic mode. The 4.0.0 has the same problem as I canāt include 2 profiles in one plugin. I will generate 2 packages with the same code but different lp5.
In 2020 (havenāt tried with 24) and the latest version and firmware, Iām finding the rotary controls donāt act smoothly. If you change the heading for instance, itās like itās 3 steps forward, 2 back, then 5 forward, 4 back etc. Iām assuming some kind of mismatch between what the loupedeck thinks the current value is versus what the sim is telling it, and they donāt match up so you get this unfortunate effect with the value jumping around.
Certainly doesnāt stop me using it, but would be nice to fix if itās a problem you can duplicate?
I just updated my LoupeDesk App to version 6.1.4. The profile is not in the LoupeDeck Market Place. I installed the profile manually via the instructions in this article. It seemed to load fine, but I canāt find the MSFS or flight simulator profile anywhere within the LoupeDeck app. Work spaces, profiles, etc.
Anybody install the profile manually in 6.X? It looks like Logitech is no longer going to support this device.
Hi, the new release isnāt on the market because I have to remove the Flight dll from the package to comply with rules (and use the one from the SDK). Itās in progress but my not priority.
The profiles are not included in the last release because I canāt add one for MSFS 2020 and one other for 2024 without making 2 plugins. You can find the profiles here : msfsdeck/MSFS2020.lp5 at develop Ā· calibx/msfsdeck Ā· GitHub and here msfsdeck/MSFS2024.lp5 at develop Ā· calibx/msfsdeck Ā· GitHub
