Mandatory update Su6

I have updated MSFS sucessfully to su6. I have flown at least ten flights I bring up MSFS this morning and it says I have a mandatory update: su6 to download. I do not want to download and install this update again as it was already loaded and installed successfully. Please see the screen shot. Can someone please help as I can not get by this update screen in order to use the sim.

The upper left side of the screen says 1.20.6.0

Have you clicked on browse and made sure it is directed to the correct install path.

let me chk that

yes it is the identical path were the su6 was installed. Is there a key in the registry that gets updated and might have been screwed up somehow? The sim was working fine for two days after he update when I received the mandatory update screen

Hi sorry buddy not sure how to fix it. I just knew that sometimes it just needs the file path corrected on the update screen. hopefully someone else who has had the issue can help you out.

thanks, np just didn’t want to have to reload this thing for the 3rd time

Tried just quitting and restarting?

Yes, did everything including a restore from the date it last worked, two days ago. Finally went ahead and on the mandatory update screen just reinstalled the whole su6 again. Seems like it is working okay today so fingers crossed that the su6 download will not appear again on the update screen. (just a note, that I do have windows 11 installed on my pc) couple days now and once again says that I have to load the mandatory update su6

I deleted the sim and reloaded from scratch for the fifth time. I think that updating the ms store had something to do with the mandatory su6 showing up so I willl just not update the store until after su7 is released

Hi.

I played today normally and all of the sudden got this mandatory 93.39GB update despite my version is the current 1.20.6.0.
What update is this??

My connection is slow as you can see. and will take forever!, an update more than the half of the size of the sim?

Make absolutely sure it’s pointed to your Microsoft Flight Simulator folder.

Thank you Salem, rechecked it and it was solved!
