Manseq

What does MANSEQ mean in the G1000 and how do is work in flight?

It means that the flight plan at that point is disconnected to the next leg (manually sequenced - expecting vectors), I think that is called a discontinuity. If you look at your route on the map you won’t see a connecting line to the next waypoint, which is usually some form of an approach.

In the G1000 Nxi I am using I just go into the flight plan (FPL), scroll down to the MANSEQ, and CLR it, and the FPL will connect the dots back.

Good to know this is an option as well. What I’ve been doing is scrolling to the next waypoint after MANSEQ and doing a Direct To. I guess in both cases though, the result is the same. It continues on with your flight plan.

Thank you for the help.

I take out the MANSEQ before I leave the ground when I review the flight plan. I hate monkeying around with the flight plan in the air, I’ve had a couple of flights freeze when doing so.
