Map CTD / help needed / no airports!

Hello there,

I’m lost and nothing seems to work, whenever I’m at the map and click on an airport to set it for departure 9/10 it would cause a CTD.

I’m not new to fixing bugs and crashes, I tried a lot of things and it looks like a full windows reinstall is only option.

I did a full clean reinstall of MSFS.

Before I start with this I just wanted to ask if maybe someone still has a tip / advice.

• came out of nowhere, no files or addons were changed/added
• steam cloud save delete
  -profile file delete
  -set the sim fully offline mode
  -deleted everything in app data folders when reinstalling MSFS
• run in safe mode
  -started clean without any addons
• started without world updates

I see you have been in this other topic too with this issue: Sim crashes when zooming in at the worldmap.

Have you tried this to suppress the Satellite map from being used? (Use JD’s mod with the change I wrote here):

Success! @Agathorn1975 / @SPEEDRAZOR64 (and anyone else interested)… this totally worked for me to skip right to the IFR style map. Also you can try setting your network card to 100Mbit Half Duplex in Device Manager:

Oke this is strange, it’s still happening but way less!! But how

Everything went well, was selecting different airports, selected Bolzano airport, and frozen again and within 2 seconds CTD.

I know Bolzano is a world update airport…. Something wrong here?

I’m also missing decent airports now, like Helsinki, EFHK.

Just now started again, Bornholm the same, it’s also part of a world update.

Only airports I have are world update airports, and half of them cause CTD!
