Generally I agree …but the Captain Sim C130’s (E,H & J) are pretty good !
…but you probably only need one as the Cockpits are all similar …and definitely not a ‘J’ cockpit!

As a career mode flier I would love if the airliners available in marketplace actually becomes enabled for use in careermode?
Because we really need more options to choose from, and definitely better modeled planes.

In general more options would be great. I really like to fly GA in campain because I rarely fly them otherwise. So additional planes from 3rd party will be nice.

I think that’s already possible in theory?
The plane dev just needs to implement the requirements for an aircraft to be usable in career. In reality this probably is a slow process because that means updating the aircraft to 2024 standards

I am really struggling to understand the thought process behind hiding the developer on the product tiles. Why create the extra step of having to mouse over in-sim? And for those of us, like myself, who still refuse to get FS24 until at least SU2, the marketplace update is even less useful. So now I have to take an extra step and check with my trusted developers to make sure none of these military planes I care about are theirs and any good? That’s… slightly less than helpful.

Strictly from a design standpoint, what is the point of removing the developer from the tile? It leaves a big blank line of unused space and severely limits information and therefore usefulness. Who thought this was a good idea? It seems in keeping with the other UI downgrades in FS24, and it is really off-putting. I realize someone worked on this and (probably) thought it was good, but man I hope the UI gets a massive overhaul to actually make it user friendly.

Let’s not act like the hardcores don’t already know who made practically every single add-on launched in MP long before it comes out

Besides the downgrade in the tiles not showing the developer, they also don’t show a category any more.

Based on the names alone, it’s not clear what some products are even meant to be. The 2020 product tiles say “liveries” or “scenery” or “jet” etc. but the 2024 tiles give no indication. Just the product name, often truncated.

Makes it easier for the uninitiated to buy liveries for aircraft they don’t even own, perhaps… but hey, no refunds, right?

So far, the only good thing I can say about the 2024 marketplace, from a quick browse in-sim, is that the main product page screenshots are not half-buried behind the product title & description. So you can see full screenshots of the product properly. I haven’t found anything else to be an improvement yet, unfortunately.

Well, I do like that different star ratings are available for areas such as realism, visuals etc. but I wouldn’t trust a purchase decision on that vs a proper review from someone I trust.
