so no SU2 beta this week ?
No SU2 beta this week it appears-taking its time for a bit more polish to roll out the beta.
It was today or tomorrow…
Have they ever released on a Friday?
I think so, but they may need more time and only release it next week.
If it brings the memory fixes as mentioned by MS it cannot come soon enough. With that and VR in order 2024 may finally become THE MSFS version to use!
To participate in the SU2 update beta, do we need to be on SU1 beta? I was on it the SU1 beta. Really looking forward to VR improvements…
Hello @SixRook29612232,
The SU2 beta will be open to everyone. It is not necessary to have previously been part of the SU1 beta.
Thanks,
MSFS Team
Great…thanks..
One thing (of many) that I don’t like about the FS24 UI is in the new marketplace that it no longer shows the developer of an addon on the tile in the list, you only get that when you mouse over.
For many of us the developer information is even more important than the title of the addon, and this omission really ruins the marketplace experience for me.
It’s even worse with this dev update since the tiles are screenshotted into the blog and so the developer information is completely lost, which renders the update completely useless to me.
If I was a high quality developer I would be really concerned about my addons becoming anonymised and commoditised in this way.
I really hope they fix the UI in the game so we don’t get a worse experience than in FS20. And also so that these updates contain developer information as before.
Or maybe the cynic might suggest that this was a totally deliberate move to hide the amount of low quality content being dumped into the marketplace and reduce the number of complaints that this used to generate. I guess we’ll find out if this regression is not resolved…
Well, since you can filter by developers now, the simple thing is to enable all devs except those you want to stay away from
Doesn’t help when reading the development blog update.
I posted the same thing here.

There is a MP Backlog section for 2020, it would be nice to get a feeling on the progress and make some estimates when to expect new products/Updates for 3rd party if we could get something like this also for FS2024. Unless only the label is wrong and the backlog does show FS2024 as well.
This would also show the progress and the amount of work done during a weekly timeframe.
Especially if you consider that based on the last information we got, the number of players in FS2024 is much higher than in FS2020.
Who are the High Quality developers please. It will help those of us who have never used a markeplace before. I certainly dont want to throw money at a poor quality product or one that has no after market support.
Pyreegue, Flightbeam, Digitaldesign, Drzewiecki, NZA Simulations, inibuilds, Aerosoft, Orbx, stuff like that.
Just stay away from Dreamscenery, VA Systems, Captainsim and such…
I would also like to give a shout for Mike Ramasurinen, developer of the Grumman Albatross. He is an honourable developer who always answers questions and is keen to fix problems with his plane. I am not sure what his company name is.
Thanks, will do ![]()
