How long does it take to get the CRJ v2 update in the Marketplace
The delay in adding updates to marketplace, is the main reason I no longer purchase via it. Supporting developer directly gets you updates on day of release.
Understand the CRJ v2 was sent to MS at least 5 days ago, still no joy. 
The CRJ was one of the last purchases I made on the Marketplace, so I’m in the same boat as you.
Agree. It’s disgusting that the marketplace is taking this long to provide people that supported them when purchasing the original to now be left hanging.
Same here, I contacted them and they said you’ll get it whenever it’s ready! No refund will be provided cause there is no fault of theirs! Aerosoft is also careless about their clients! They don’t seem concerned about what’s going on.
That was it for both!
With this event I learned. Never buy from the Marketplace again if the product is available with the developer.
Here we are on the 10th, still no V2 update for the marketplace version of the CRJ. It was one of my first marketplace purchases and one that I regret. In addition to updates taking forever to roll out, the files are encrypted for the marketplace version, but not if you buy it directly from Aerosoft. Unfortunately, the Aerosoft devs were careless about assigning the appropriate callsigns to the various liveries for the CRJ. Had I bought the CRJ from them, I could have accessed the .cfg files and corrected the ATC callsigns myself, however this is not possible in the marketplace version because the .cfg files are encrypted and the end user does not have access to them.
I feel exactly the same. It was my first and definately my last.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but does the Monday and Tuesday marketplace update not happen until later in the afternoon? (in regards to American time zones anyways)
You are correct. The Marketplace typically updates after around 3:00pm EST/7:00pm UTC on Mondays and Thursdays. Sometimes quite a bit later in the day.
This is proof that they hate us and want us to suffer.
(I’m saying this so they might see this and think ‘Well let’s prove this guy wrong’ and release it to make me retract my statement. And trust me, I’d be more than happy to do that. So come on MSAsobo, make me apologize!)
Just a little (hopefully) release day humor. 
Aerosoft could resolve this if they cared about it. Many vendors have offered up license transfers from the MP to one of the other stores. Flightbeam just made arrangements so KPDX could be transferred. Seems like Contrail was trying to work something out with Aerosoft on the CRJ but no dice. I’m not sure if Contrail wanted to charge Aerosoft for this or not.
Annoying.
I contacted Contrails and it was out of his hands. He is just an on-seller and Aerosoft was the one that made the decision not to allow them to reciprocate marketplace purchased CRJ’s by providing proof that you had it purchased.
Aerosoft this could have been a good opportunity to redeem yourself but you didn’t. Many annoyed frustrated fans of your aircraft out there, including me. Please let Lars release the CRJ to the marketplace customers because if you do all my business will then go to Contrail and Marketplace will never get another cent from me.
Absolutely will not purchase from MP again and Aerosoft not far behind. Most of us purchased the CRJ many years ago and only platform was MP at the time. This is absolutely unacceptable that some type of work around wasnt or has not been provided to us.
Yeah, that was my sense too. Contrail wanted to help out but got the no-go from Aerosoft.
Is there an ETA from Microsoft? If not, at least an explanation on why MP has such delays?
I’m inclined to simply repurchase the plane from any other vendor and be done with the marketplace for good.
I unfortunately miss the Update of CRJ v2 in Marketplace or Content Manager.
Why does it take so long???
If so they would have taken that stance 4 years ago. It’s always been a bad operation.
