ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

I have been unable to use MS marketplace to purchase the ATR72. I have been going back and forth with Zen support for three days and they tell me there is nothing they can do as I have tried ALL their suggestions. When I attempt to buy the purchase screen tried to load for a fraction of a second then closes. I get an error message “There is a pending transaction. Wait…if this problem continues contact support.” This is my first online marketplace purchase for MS2020 from day one. Zen assures me I have no pending transactions. I have logged out of both xbox and store accounts. I have changed my payment methods. I have changed browsers. I have looked at my TLS settings. I have cleared my data cache. Of note: when I scroll through all 276 aircraft in the marketplace, the ATR72 does not show. Using the search engine it comes rightr up. Tried buying a cheap airport. Same results.

Anyone else ever run into this? The premium ATR72 is ONLY available from the marketplace.

Surely this can be fixed.

Any suggestions.

If you have a Zendesk Ticket already, that filing supersedes this Bug Report. You’re already in contact with the Resolving Team over there.

But the OP states that Zendesk cannot solve the issue, therefore is posting here.

There’s no resolving team here on the forums. If this was a standard Bug Report - the CMs would validate it and send it back to…Zendesk.

I wonder if the user should go to XBox Support as they own the Marketplace from a transaction perspective.

Thank you Demented and all. I have spent the past few hours going through the items in the list provided. I had NOT received any of this from Zen. I did not uninstall and reinstall faming services through the powershell. i know from biter experience these things cascade and I will end up with no access to MS2020. It’s how it works,

This is probably going to come across as a bit arrogant and I mean NO disrepect for the efforts the community here has helped provide. It is VERY much appreciated.

Next week I will be 70. i have been flight simming, mostly in MS for nearly 25 years pretty regularly. It frustrates and humors me at the same time that a nearly 4 trillion dollar tech services company cannot build a store front to take my money that works.

Or… someone would say " Mr. Customer, this is a complex issue, if you are willing to part with some renumberation we could set up an appoinment with a MS technician that has a hard time with the Kings English, remote into your computer and see if we can solve the issue for you.
BTW…thank you for being a loyal customer to both us and the entire flight sim industry these past few decades and spending coutless thousands of dollars to support us.

Some similar reports exist with different workarounds, hopefully one of them will work:
I cannot purchase anything from the market place another transaction pending
Marketplace wont let me purchase anything. Says there are pending transactions
Another Transaction is pending

DementedCorn327… if I could I would buy you your favorite adult beverage and shout out a big thank you. I ran MSFS as Admin, then ran it not as admin, the transaction processed.
