Maule M7 by Pilot Experience Sim

Couldn’t see it either

I saw it with DC-6, Tecnam P2006T, A-10 and other products.

I know the price in euro, 25.99€
and in GBP 21.74£

It seems on marketplace it’s only available for Xbox at the moment. I don’t see the PC icon

Hmm. Maybe it’s rolling out gradually, one market at a time. Or on XBox first, like you suggested.

strange… it says new to pc and xbox on the development update but… its nowhere to be seen on pc marketplace, everything else has been updated according to the development update just not the maule.

same here, no Maule on my Marketplace, Asobo ■■■■■■ up again, thats is the problem if you release on Marketplace first, sorry but this makes no sense to me, why an Developer want to release first on MP and weeks after on Simmarket, he can already sale hundreds of copies in this Timespan from handing over to Asobo and release on Marketplace.

I agree, it was a very strange decision not to release it everywhere all at once. I think my interest will fade in the several weeks it will take for this to appear anywhere but on the Market Place.

has anyone been able to try it on xbox ?

From their Facebook page -

It seems to be a Microsoft issue….
We have received the confirmation that it is available ….
We are working on it to contact Microsoft and understand what is happening …

I need more flights but I like this bush plane. Apply right rudder before taking off because the Maule goes all the way to the left.
The best rate of climb is 78/80 knots.

About sound, I think it should be a little bit louder inside the cockpit, also there’s no much difference when doors are open (on the ground)

Too bad Garmin 750/650 still not available on Xbox, Garmin 530/430 works.

Just got a message that it’s on the Inistore.

I couldn’t resist and i took it, as SanderCohen7 said, there is no change in sound when opening the doors.

I would have liked a little more livery given the price of the plane.
Apart from that it’s really pleasant to fly with, it requires a little skill at takeoff and landing.
The modeling and the textures nothing to say, perfect, the sound of the engine too is very good, even if I don’t know if it’s like the real plane.

Very happy with my purchase even if it’s a little expensive (I also appreciate the 3 versions of the plane)

I looked at the product pages and couldn’t find an answer. What features does the Maul have, in terms of tablet options, engine damage, failures, cosmetic covers/chocks/passengers/cargo, etc.? Anything?

Does the Maule have any type of AP? I didn’t see one in the photos.

There was an issue with the PC version of Pilot Experience Sim Maule M7-235 yesterday that led to a delay in its release. That issue is resolved and the product is now available for purchase in the Marketplace. Thank you!

No autopilot

I gotta say I love this aircraft! The feel and handling is right up there with the JustFlight Pipers for me. It ticks all of my boxes for a bush plane and I couldn’t be happier.

i fly the real plane as towing pilot and instructor and i am one of the beta testers for that plane. you are right: no change yet when opening the doors. btw: you don‘t do that very often in real life. there are very few reasons to do so: cool down the pilot between two glidertows on a hot summer day or the instructor exiting the plane when letting the student fly solo… the soundset is a bonanza at the moment with custom sounds like the stall warning. but i can tell you this is already very close to the real one. more to come. and regarding volume: that depends so much on your headset. but yes, the real one is a loud aircraft inside. i am more than thankful for my bose A20 .

there is a cardboard on the top of the panel. you can click that and select some options like chocks and gps-version from there. more to come

And I gotta say something different…
Not that often I come here to complain but 30 Bucks for this?

To make things short:
Flightmodel is OK, not great yet, it’s OK
Sound is “borrowed” from the Asobo Bonanza
Wind or gear-down sound is therefore too loud 'n noisy because the gear is naturally “permanently extended”
VR-View is too low into seat from …has to be more up

room for improvement

If you ever sat and flew in a Maule, you expect something more different
Call me old and grumpy, but…sorry to say… this product isn’t ready yet.

Cheers

no autopilot. the real one (standard version, no modifications) does not have one either. and i know that because i fly several of them on a very regular basis.
