It’s the same on Xbox

Yes

Installed on Steam, I have no fs-base-ui-widget folder in Packages, only fs-base-ui. Every time I tried to launch the Mavrick activities I am redirected to the content manager indicating the package has been installed.

Error: fs-base-ui-widgets (current 0.1.5, last: 0.1.6), although in the manifest 0.1.6 is indicated. I have tried reinstalling Flight Simulator from scratch, then reinstalling the maverick addon from the content manager, the issue persists. I have tried deleting the fs-base-ui-widgets folder, upon relaunching the game I can see it reinstalls it, but the issue persists. When I click on the Maverick activities, it just redirect me to the content manager again.

Now I see the same dependencies error/warning in the marketplace, but other than that, everything works fine on my end. I don’t think the warning appeared on the day I installed the Top Gun DLC, but I’m not sure.
I am voting this up, even though mine works, something looks fishy here.
I have the Steam version.

After 30d seems no solutions have been found, I tryed everything in the replies above and nothing worked for me… I have the same issue except the version has changed, error message:
Some dependencies are missing or out of date : (fs-base-ui-widgets (current: 0.1.27, last: 0.1.8)).
I have the same issue here. From scratch installation worked for some days. Now it’s broken again.

Did you ever get it figured out? Having the same issue
I deleted MSFS and performed a new installation. The same error is displayed.
Is there still no solution for it?
I think I’ve just solved the problem. Sort of.
Find a computer with working Top Gun Maverick and navigate to the following folder with File Explorer:
C:\Users*user’s_name*\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore
Copy the folder named ‘fs-base-ui-widgets’ to a USB thumb drive.
Copy ‘fs-base-ui-widgets’ from USB thumb drive to corresponding folder in the computer you want to fix. You may want to copy the to-be-replaced copy to a safe place for backup.
The C:\Users*user_name*\AppData is a hidden folder. Typing ‘AppData’ in the File Path box when you are in the user_name folder will get you into that hidden folder.
I had the same problem when trying to download the DLC.
For Steam users, this might help. I went to my Steam library and right-click on MSFS, then click on Verify integrity of game files" this will take some time.
Once verification is done, I launched MSFS and tried to download the Top Gun Maverick DLC, and yes it worked. Went straight to Mach 10 after it finished installation.
I had the same issue, but I was able to start the missions from the Activities menu. When I went back to the main menu after that I was able to start the mission from there as well.
