Brief description of the issue:

The rotating green/white beacon basically needs a new bulb. It rotates, but it’s dark at all times of day or night.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Start at the new Meigs, launch drone, observe beacon on top of control tower

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

See my profile for 'puter specs, but not relevant. I also confirmed that the stock beacon effect is functioning at the stock KGSO

Tested post-update, still not working. Video taken in Safe Mode, sim version 1.37.18.0.

15 months and another Sim Update, but still no fix for this blatantly obvious bug! Like the clip above, this one was taken in Safe Mode to ensure there were no anomalies from any addons. @Jummivana, is there any way to find out from the developer team if they even know about this?

The beacon is not visible at any airport. It should be visible from about 5mi or more. They used to be in the older sims. Not a major issue but does take away from the reality of the sim.

I find this to be true at every airport, not just Meigs

I see that the OP is from 2020. I guess nobody cares about the issue…pitty!
