im probably out of the loop but are mgouges realism mods good? i cant find anything about review of them?
I like them. He seems to know what is going on. I use no other mods for flight configurations.
I don’t know what to think, honestly. Taken individually, it seems like there could be some good stuff there. I know that many of the default planes are very “default” in their modeling from Asobo, and apparently have room for improvement.
But then again, how does someone know how all of these various different planes really fly and how to make them “more closely resemble the real plane”? There are like a dozen or more improvement mods, right? (EDIT: Actually it’s 33!) Not sure how that’s possible for one person to be an authority on so many planes, especially when it seems to take a group of devs months and months (years?) to tweak one plane?
I could be way off here and I admit I’m very ignorant on plane modelling. It just seems odd to me.
The one flag that really stood out is that even after Working Title spent huge amounts of time working 787-10 flight characteristics, have access to the manufacturers data and books, and have type-rated pilots giving feedback, this one-man show releases a mod “primarily aimed at improving the aircraft flight model to make its overall performance more closely match the actual aircraft, providing a much closer experience to flying the real aircraft.”

I use his Cessna 172 mod. I find it very beneficial.
I believe he simply does research and makes the aircraft behave as close to the data available as possible. I find his mods to be very close to specs.
