MH-60 bundle with Mission hub for PS5

MH-60 Release on PS5 Feels Incomplete Without Mission Hub

First of all — the MH-60 itself is fantastic.

The helicopter is one of the most exciting additions to MSFS 2024 for console players, especially for those of us who enjoy multiplayer operations, sling loads, SAR flights, and realistic helicopter missions.

But right now, the release feels strangely incomplete.

A huge part of the MH-60 marketing and community excitement was tied to the Mission Hub experience — dynamic missions, operational gameplay, sling-load tasks, coordinated multiplayer scenarios, and overall purpose-built helicopter content.

On console, especially PS5, it currently feels like we received the aircraft without the ecosystem that was showcased around it.

The result is that many players expected a more integrated experience, almost like a bundle:

  • MH-60 helicopter

  • Mission Hub

  • Operational missions and gameplay loop

Instead, we only received part of that package.

We understand there may be technical, certification, or platform limitations involving Microsoft and Sony, but communication on this has been misleading. For many console users, it genuinely feels like advertising focused heavily on features that are not actually available to us yet.

We are asking Microsoft, Sony, and the developers to:

  • Prioritize Mission Hub release on console

  • Release it free for existing MH-60 owners

  • Improve communication and transparency about the rollout

  • Support the helicopter gameplay experience that was originally showcased

The MH-60 deserves its full ecosystem.

Right now the aircraft is excellent — but it feels like only half the experience arrived.

We really hope the Mission Hub release becomes a priority because the helicopter community on console is ready for it.

Hi @Mrkvevelky

We’ve removed the bold text from your post as it was being used for the entirety of the comment. We politely request that you don’t use excessive font formatting on your posts within the MSFS forums.

Thanks for understanding

This helicopter had description in marketplace saying that it comes bundled with mission hub. The mission hub is unfortunately nowhere to be found . Will this be added? Or we will get refunded for the missing part of the offer?

Please note that Mission Hub is not included in the base package for this aircraft, it is a fully separate product from the MH-60. As such, there is nothing to refund.

The MH60 product description mentions 4 included minisceneries (airport sceneries), but does not mention that Mission Hub is included. A bundled offer does exist on PC and Xbox, but the second product is subject to an additional fee. This offer does not currently exist on PS5.

Content on PS5 is curated by Microsoft, which means we have no control over what is released or when. At this time, the MH-60 is the only product Microsoft has selected for release.

EDIT: This is the product description as submitted by us - please follow up on this thread if you see something different on Marketplace:

It was the first day of the release when on the marketplace it was advertised like MH-60 and Mission Hub bundle, it was changed afterwards. I dont have problem to pay for the mission hub just think it shouldn’t be advertised like that and than changed.

I was not aware of that - likely it was a backend issue on Microsoft’s side, but we did not get notified of the error.

The submitted product description is as shown above.

The description was clearly saying it was included with mission hub. It is no longer saying that, it is coherent wirth the description pasted, meaning it was changed.

I have bought a product expecting certain things based on the description, they were not included and the description is now changed. Obviously, I did not think about making a screenshot of the “offer” to then prove the developer the package is incomplete.

Please note that I was not aware of this until now - This is clearly an error on Microsoft’s Marketplace side, as Mission Hub was never selected or tested for PS5 release.

Sir, customers have seen and relied on information that was part of the product description and has now been removed or altered. From a customer perspective, this remains Miltech’s product, description, and offer.

There has been no apology or acknowledgment of the issue, and instead customers are being directed to log tickets with Microsoft.

I believe Miltech should engage with the responsible party internally and provide an official statement explaining how this situation will be handled going forward

Please understand that the description published on the listing did not match what we submitted, and we are unable to offer a product that has not been approved for release on the platform. This situation is frustrating on our end as well.

We are currently in contact with the Marketplace team internally to resolve this. However, since orders are processed through the Marketplace, the most effective recourse available to you as a customer is to direct your concerns to the distributor handling the listing. As the developer, our role is limited to delivering completed files and instructions to the vendor, who is then responsible for the correct processing and distribution of those files.

Additionally, forum rules prevent us from providing customer or order support through this channel.

Thanks for reply, I did the request on zendesk, we will see what will be the answer…

For any support/question I would recommend to contact them directly through their site: Contact

Hey man, as per this thread, Miltech is in touch with Microsoft Marketplace team to “sort it out”. Bookmark it and sit back.

Re post by moderator redirecting us to contact Miltech directly. Miltech has an established presence on this forum. The issue we are facing is not individual thing, it’s something affecting community of supporters and early adopters. Also, this is something really blend when it comes to responsibility on who caused it. One party says it’s Microsoft making mistake, the other one that’s on Miltech. I can’t judge, I just know I have bought the product because of description saying Mission Hub is there. I’m in the middle, with my money spent, and without content described in the offer.

Hence, I believe this thread should stay here as is, until we come to a satisfactory consensus.

Looks like someone from the forums marked this like solved but I don’t have the feeling this has been solved in any way!

this is what I got from ZenDesk, generic reply…

Hi Filip,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Flight Simulator Support today.

MSFS 2024 has just launched on the PlayStation 5 and as a result, there are only a limited amount of DLC options available within the in-sim marketplace currently. There will be more DLC items added within the in-sim marketplace as the DLC items complete testing for full PS5 compatibility.

This will be done in a phased roll-out. Expect weekly marketplace additions throughout 2026 to be added as the DLC items complete testing. New items are generally released on Mondays and Thursdays of each week. A list of all DLC released on each platform will be released on our main https://www.flightsimulator.com/ website.

Add-on creators are responsible for the content they sell on the Marketplace. This includes addressing compatibility issues, resolving technical problems, fixing bugs and gathering feedback on features.

If you experience any problems or have suggestions about this add-on, please contact the developer to report the issue and request direct assistance. The developer(s) who created the content will have the best resources to answer your questions.

How to find the email address or point of contact for that developer:

  • Open the Marketplace

  • Type the name of your addon in the search field

  • Scroll down under the description until you see “support contact.”

If you don’t remember the name of your addon:

  • Select the category of your addon (for instance, “aircraft”)

  • Click on “See all categories.”

  • Then Show “Owned only.

Kind regards,
Microsoft Flight Simulator Support Team

Okay, let’s clarify a few things:

  1. MH60 and Mission Hub are two completely separate and independent products. MH60 can be used without Mission Hub, and Mission Hub can be used without MH60.
  2. Both MH60 and Mission Hub were developed as part of the same ecosystem, with both products benefiting from each other. As such, a bundled offer for both was released on the MS Marketplace. This offer is available on PC and Xbox, but was never approved for release on PS5.
  3. PS5 Marketplace is entirely curated and managed by Microsoft. We, as developers, don’t get to choose what releases, when and how. We just submit our content (including product description), and get notified when a product is selected to go live. We approve the release, which we did for MH60 and MH60 only, as this is the only product that was selected by Microsoft.
  4. The product description we submitted and approved contains no information about Mission Hub. This is the product description I see on my side, which I’ve referenced above. If you see a different product description, please follow up on this thread.
  5. I’ve contacted Microsoft, and they have no records of a product description change, nor they see any other products being published other than MH60. The issue is now under a deeper investigation on their side, as it may be a technical problem of some sort, however, I have zero visibility or information beyond this.

So to confirm, despite you see the “MH60 BUNDLE” in the Content Library, under this product you’ll only see the MH60 Helicopter, and NOT Miltech Mission Hub, as the latter has never been tested or approved for release on PS5.

Additionally, the product description -unless what I see is different than what’s available for other users- make no mention of Mission Hub being included. The MH60 offering includes 3 variants (S, R, T) and 4 sceneries, but no Missions or Mission Hub app.

From our side at Miltech Simulations, there’s unfortunately nothing more we can do directly. We aren’t even able to disable the product on the Marketplace without going through Microsoft first. This is just as frustrating for us, and it affects us reputationally as well, so please trust that we’ve escalated this internally as far as we possibly can.

Please also note that we are not the vendor of this product, Microsoft/Sony is. We only receive a portion of the price you pay for the add-on, as a royalty for developing and maintaining it. We’re unable to issue refunds, as we have no access to your order information and haven’t even received your money yet. We also can’t provide Mission Hub free of charge, as that isn’t an option on PS5. Mission Hub simply isn’t available on the platform today, and it doesn’t appear it will be anytime soon.

The one option we can offer at this point is for you, as the end customer, to contact Microsoft directly through their support channel: https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

The best thing for microsoft and Asobo to do would be to fast track the release of the mission hub on PS5 as long as there are no technical issues preventing this.

Just out of curiosity is there any technical reason why microsoft wouldn’t select it for release on PS5? Does any addon require additional work on your end for it to run on PS5 or is it just simply waiting on a queue for it to be selected?

Unfortunately I do not know what the criteria for PS5 release is, but quite restrictive given that not a lot of content has been selected for release. From our side, it’s just testing, and provided that works correctly, approving the release.

That said, please note that Mission Hub is sold separately. So unless the pricing was also incorrect (i.e. customers were charged the bundled rate, for which I’ve seen no evidence of), releasing Mission Hub won’t fully resolve the claims that the product description indicated both products were included.

The picture you posted is from “my library” section of your installation, you only see this after you made the purchase. How this could influence your purchase decision is hard to understand. In all fairness.

Miltech did post the sales pitch and nowhere it does state the separate product you are claiming is included.

On top they did several times outline the process of what gets released and explained multiple time that it is not their decision what gets released or not. How they could influence and change this process is also hard to understand.

This said, your point of claiming false advertisement does not seem to have any ground so far.
But this is only my 2ct.

On a final note, Miltech does not have a tomcat in their line up, so there is nothing to release. And Air refueling is even another different product from a different studio.
You are mixing things up here that have nothing to do with each other.

Just to help you avoiding another disappointment.
In case you buy a tomcat it does not come with an aircraft carrier or air refueling!
In case you buy a aircraft carrier it does not come with a tomcat or air refueling!
In case you buy air refueling, it does not come with a tomcat or an aircraft carrier!

I get that you are upset because you would like to do something you cannot. But the way you communicate this does just make your point weaker and weaker with every post you make.

EDIT:
I would hope that someone from MS (CM or at least vol. Moderator) would jump in here and help to clear the situation. It is hard to understand how they can let one of their Development Partner alone here if they are clearly in charge of the process what gets release or not.
