Any information on how MSFS2024 will use the PS5 Haptic controller features? Microphone feedback and input would be incredible. Just voicing out commands instead of pressing buttons going to be in the game? Also, if they can utilize haptic feedback on the controller when flying/takeoff/landing could be an incredible feature adding more immersion to the game.
Do we have any information if the game will take advantage of the PS5 controller features?
Not yet, itās in beta testing now. There are a few YouTube videos you can watch already

My PS account is under one of my other email addresses, while my MS account is under an outlook.com address. So Iām not seeing the PlayStation beta section here due to the forum logins being different. I thought about just logging in under my email account thatās used by the PlayStation account, but due to cookies and stuff the forum software does not make it a simple matter to log in under a different address. Plus it seems a bit of a pain to log in under a different ID to read one section. But I would like to provide feedback on the PS5 version. Sooā¦
TL;DR: Is there someone I can provide contact info to in order to show that Iām in the PS5 beta and get this account added to the PS5 beta section? Thanks!
Iād suggest contacting the ZenDesk and opening a ticket with them:

Hi, I am testing the PS5 Beta. The PS5 Dual sence controller is providing haptical feedback.
Im a PS5 Beta tester. Haptic feedback is used. Also the radio communication does come from the controller. Not sure if voice commands are enabled.
There seems to be several problems relating accounts details to both the beta forum and to the online flight planner.
I couldnāt get onto the beta forum at 1st, it said I wasnāt known. Mods here sorted that out.
When I try and log into the online planner, again it says not known but I have the email from microsoft to say my account is linked to the planner.
Voice commands were only availiable with payed add ons, i very much doubt it will be included for free just for playstation
thanks everyone for the updates. thatās great to hear they are using the haptic features on the controller. hopefully it will add more immersion to the game.
I find it funny that MS does more to support the PS5 controller haptics than Sony does or other developers on PS5 do. Indiana Jones on PS5 with the haptic feedback is incredible. Glad to know MSFS24 looks to be following in the same direction.
Is there any substance to the rumor that FS24 PS5 will NOT be crossplay compatible?
Sadly itās not a rumour. Itās a fact. Huge missed opportunity and I seriously cannot fathom why they would not have put the effort in to get that working. Lots of other AAA games do!
Not a rumor.
Q: Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 have cross-play between PS5 and other platforms (Xbox, PC)?
A: No, these versions are separate and will not have shared multiplayer servers.

Totally in that camp. Thats effectively half the sim experience gone.
As player who started on Xbox and just recently moved to pc because of interacting with pc players and hearing about their experiences I think thats probably going to change many minds about getting involved.
Such a shame
Baffling to the extremeā¦
It would be really disappointing if they donāt do a little Carrer mode airliner pack with the ps5 launch
They are doing a pre order jet fighter, so you never know once the marketplace opens.
A lot of games have their own servers, and thus can support cross play. MSFS on XBox, Cloud, and PC makes use of XBox Authentication. Any user information and DRM comes from XBox. Playstation obviously is not going to have XBox authentication. DRM on XBox would not work. All purchases instore are on the PS network. All user information is from PSN.
Are they to work via the same online services/servers?
