I did get into the Asobo 737 in my default home airport and it took 4-5 mins just to load the cockpit textures, then the displays blinded me as I turned on the battery without any way of turning them down. I am sure this is result of probably incomplete download, but thatās hardly my fault, and not did the game tell me that the download is incomplete and the planes may be broken.

from the glorious long loading times, the amazing userfriendly UI, to the 0 planes available - this release is unbelievable.
How is it even possible.
At least there are high quality giraffes in the sim, so Ive heard.

I have the same problem with the same video card.
Did anyone manage to solve it?
Sorry MS Asobo ā we had all the hope, but lessons learned. Going back to MSFS 2020 ā this is nowhere near ready. 3 hours and not a single flight. None of our 3rd party peripherals are easily mappable, CTDs 2 times and just get sent back to a ridiculous 40 minute load screen.
This is NOT good.

Iām not sure if all downloads are going through Joerg Neumannās PC and itās a bit overloaded. But it feels like it.
12% on the loading screen, after no less than 25 minutes. Embarrassing. This is a Microsoft premium product, isn`t it?

Itās almost 3 hours now and i canāt get MSFS2024 installed.
The first install stuck after setup screen.
The second install stuck on 97%.
The third install also stuck on 97%.
I is terrible and shame on Asobo and Microsoft for such a bad release.

Honestly, the slow download aside (which can be attributed to the massive server hit), why did you release this like this?
I mean, congratulations, you made your ever important November 19 date, but why was that more important than excellence?

Are there any installation instructions? Something doesnāt seem right. Microsoft Store installed the 11Gig MSFS 2024, I rebooted then tried to lanch sim by clicking on the Flight Simulator 2024 icon. It says launching game for over 20 minutesā¦ Am I doing something wrong?

The current issues should have been obvious at the release planning stage.
Lessons to (hopefully) be learned:
a. Beta Test (I think we are all doing this now).
b. Stagger the launch - 4pm locally or prioritise by purchasing date.
c. Why activate products at sim launch? Get the sim working and then activate only those products that you want to use.
Most users have not got the sim running yet so there will be a lot more feedback to come.
At the moment, I am achieving 1 percent increase in activating packages every 55 minutes - this is diabolical!

Got as far as loading cyow to go to cyyz in c172 g1000. Had changed mouse settings in hopes of faster freelook. Going fr sensitivity 50-60 = it went to lightspeed. Tried to dial it back on runway. Couldnāt get back to airplane until I pressed xbox button. Then I went to to in sim menu bar and locked freelook - lost mouse completely. Also had on screen flight guides even tho I turned them off while exploring settings
And have no response to thrustmaster hotas. Nothing at all, even though it was recognized at setup. Finally bailed and got first flight cheevo.
Loaded into some other airport and regained freelook, but no hotas response.
Getting out of menus in flight needs xbox button as esc had no effect.
Rebooted series x and typed this while sim sat at 0% loading language
Series x, thrustmaster hotas one, keyboard, mouse, powered USB 3 hub, 1gig internet
Xbox , after getting stuck on customize identity screen a couple of times made it through to the UI. sorted out an A10 for a local airfield but after waiting fifteen minutes while it tried to sort out the flight food won out and left it. Now came back hoping just to fiddle about with the new UI but now stuck on zero percent . 50 gbs still loaded on the box. This is the future of a cloud based sim , me`s think 2020 has plenty of life left in it yet

I thought I would test the sim before going to work, but it got stuck in infinite loading here on Cloud Gaming, and on the console. This is frustrating, I thought it would be better, yes, overloaded due to the launch, but, I donāt know, something better. How frustrating and sad. Stuck at 0%.
Very disappointing. Rose at 3am in Australia to complete the installation process. Here I am at 6am, cancelling the 97% startup to the main menu after my first attempt that saw me arrive at the Main Menu after around 17% with very few aircraft. Second attempt saw a progression (very slow) up to 97% and then stop. I since retried and it stayed on 0%, so I assume the servers arenāt responding.
We had planned an event once the sim was loaded but had to cancel due to the issues the members were having getting to the main menu.
I hope this is resolved quickly and Iām glad we have 2020 to fall back on.

i can raise you , got in game only had 2 planes , exited cause i musnt of applied the premium deluxe licence - Kasperksy detected flightsimulator.exe as a trojan and screwed the install , non recoverable
