After the long load time finely got in. Started to look around and only 2 aircraft available. Went into the Tobii settings and it CDT and the long load time started all over again. So far the video is the best part.

Really poor form here. This was noted and discussed during the Tech Alpha and it is not mentioned in the known issues post. Why not?

Didn’t anyone even read the posts we made during the Tech Alpha?

Same stuck at 0% - Loading Language for over 40mins now. Series X, gig internet.

I had a good hour maybe hour and a half of setting up turtle beach yoke and keyboard. Did one career mission. Lost mouse, tried to start ppl checkride and CTD on runway. Unable to get back in. :pensive_face:

That’s easy to solve. Don’t let them use it and put a password on it. Plus Windows has it’s own virus detection that’s better than that Russian thing anyway lol

On the plus side the loading screen is very nice and the background music quite relaxing, a definite improvement!

Microsoft/Asobo has made it easier for me to decide whether I’d rather watch soccer tonight or take a flight. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

How did you get past the Customize Identity freeze.

The loading times were pretty long, but was able to get to Free Flight. Unfortunately, the time zone errors that were in 2020 weren’t fixed in 2024. Madeira is still two hours behind and Arizona still has DST time when between March and early-November when it shouldn’t.

Yeah
 stuck on that screen as wel for the past half hour. After being stuck on the loading screen at 97% for almost two hours before the sim crashed
 the always online part is going very well so far /s

Apart from server issuesAsobo didn’t finish this game.I believe it was MS who forced Asobo to release the incomplete version today.

Next bottleneck: the internet connection. I seem to have been lucky compared to others and had no big waiting times beyond the customise identity etc., and wanted to do a free fight from LSZH to LSGG. The GUI is somewhat not very intuitive compared to msfs2020, but anyway. Once started the flight, i now hang in loading the flight
 the satellite map seems to be more detailed and i’m downloading at max 20Mb/s. Not everyone has a high speed internet connection. We get a fibre hi-speed-connection in Jan/Feb 25 only, i hope, it will be no issue anymore by then
