Nothing for VR so unplayable for me .Staying on 2020 uninstalling 2024 until VR is stable waste of my time even booting . If Asobo wish to pay me for pre alpha testing there broken products will await the first payment then install again . Tried again VR last night pathetic performance fantastic on 2020 as smooth as glass with 40fps across the board tons of add ons .

The plane icon in the C172 G1000 is STILL NOT fixed and the Longitude lights are still broken.

I am requesting a refund.

I did after the install. It didn’t after I loaded up again
but my Atlas was unresponsive. Chose another plane
that was ok, LAGGY map screen still on my end. Then got another CTD.

I cant deal with this now..might load it up later and try again. Or may do yet another total uninstall - reinstall. Not gonna rant and complain, it’s pointless.

Can someone explain to us why Asobo refuses to put any detail into these patch notes?

particularly with this:

  • Fixed various crashes across the title
  • Fixed performance issues at various airports

This means absolutely nothing to any of us. Which performance issues? Which ‘various crashes’?

Come on, why is it 2024 and we’re still in this place of no detail and no accountability?

This is typical MSFS and Asobo – never ever give you details on anything and then during their monthly dev streams they’ll act like they’ve never heard of the issue.

Agreed, it makes it extremely hard to test anything when the patch notes are so vague.

Ill try later. Already totally shut it down. My - somewhat of a ‘fix’ - after the last update was a total uninstall - reinstall. I just may go that route once again.

Anyone else have their VR headset just die after a CTD?

Do you use any mods or add-ons? Or are you just using the base sim with no marketplace content enabled?

Career isn’t totally broken. It’s been working fine for me and others. While I haven’t been affected by crashes either, there are many that have been having crashes. Seems a more appropriate first fix.

I have this with 2020 too, just open Task Manager and end the process.

Still no backup of each profile to associate with each of my five Logitech throttle quadrant.
It’s really very boring
