Beta 10. Get it.
No more messages on this forum. Contact me via feedback form. Bye bye.
Just for context - the mods asked me to stop as this is not the place to provide support. I am following their request and kindly ask that anyone interested in the app contact me via the website. Lots of links in the thread .
I will continue to use the forums as a normal user, just won’t be talking about my app.

Wait a minute … So they will close this whole Tools & Utilitites section !?!
I don’t get it.
No no, nothing like that. Just that this isn’t the place to do support and go back and forth with test builds and so forth. This isn’t a support forum for third-party devs, after all. I agree with their position on this myself.
I don’t mind, it’s a reasonable request and I’m happy to comply. It’s not a ban or anything like that ![]()
I think we are still allowed to discuss the app and its features.
Maybe even give feature requests and hints at bugs/incompatibilities, like in the thread for bijans seasons. Just not live bug-hunting and testing.
Moderators, please correct me if I’m wrong.
Yes I agree we should be able to discuss this utility here, just like we can discuss any aircraft or scenery mod in their dedicated forum threads. Afaik it’s only bug reports / support that need to be done outside the forum, in order to comply with forum rules.
Pretty sure OP can still post updates, bug fixes, and new features here. I hope he continues to do so.
Yeah I’ll just follow whatever rules apply. I’m still around, working away on the thing.
If you need help please use the feedback form or email address. Can’t offer help via PM here sorry ![]()
Folks, there is no problem discussing this app here. What is not permitted, as per this section of the Code of Conduct, is 3rd-party product support and bug reporting:
3rd Party Support/Bug Reporting should be sent to the designated support funnels of each 3rd Party Developer, and should not be conducted in these forums.
On these forums, users can mention (potential) bugs that they encounter to alert other users of the (potential) bug, but should also report the issue on the developers website, where the developer can engage in a conversation with the user about the issue. The MSFS forums are not designed to be a bug reporting / product support site for the 1000’s of products available for MSFS.
Ideas for new features can also be discussed between users - and such conversations obviously have benefits for the developer, but again, these forums are not designed to be used as a “3rd-party product wishlist” site. Developers should provide their own methods for user feedback on their products - including new features - where they can engage users in conversation about specific details about the new feature(s) or functionalities that users would like to see implemented in their products.
Developers can also post information about updates, bug fixes, and new features on these forums (edit: and there is a whole section for this for verified 3rd-party developers: Community Content Hangar > 3rd Party Product Announcements ), but if users have specific questions for the developer about them, they should ask their question(s) on the developers website / discord channel, etc.
Voice of the Customer feedback is tricky - and so we really encourage that kind of conversation to occur at the product owner/manufacturer’s own forums. We’ve had too many instances of a General Discussion thread implode because there was a customer interaction (i.e., complaints/disgruntlement/outright disagreement over current or intended roadmap) and we had to take it all down. So that is not allowed in the first place by the Code of Conduct. It’s been that way for years, certainly since I joined the team in 2021.
All makes sense to me and I’m on board. Thanks for clarifying.
All - I’ll be mostly read only on this thread. I’ll follow along with bugs and requests but won’t respond to anything like that. I’ll just be a regular user reading stuff , might reply when it’s clearly just a user to user thing, not developer to user.
If you want to talk to me , website feedback form or email works for now, can look into other channels as time goes by. I’m not a seasoned professional developer so figuring this out myself!
Ok, I understand that, thanks.
Hi all,
FFB-Bridge 1.0.0-beta.11 is now live.
Brief notes ( Changelog — FFB-Bridge docs for more)
Major UI changes - Dashboard, Profiles, Help completely reworked to make it easier to use.
Technical-side - Beta 11 also tightens the reliability path: the Dashboard controls now stay stable under 50 Hz telemetry updates, pause/frozen-sim handling keeps a neutral spring instead of dropping the stick limp, and profile/effect settings are wired cleanly through the active tunables path.
Also - something new is coming soon to help those who want more hardware support (Logitech G940 plus others) and more sims added.. stay tuned. Couple more days of polish needed on that.
You can grab the new Linux AppImage or Windows installer from:
As always, please send feedback through:
https://ffb-bridge.com/feedback or email me at feedback@ffb-bridge.com.
I will not respond to support requests on this site as per usual.
Thanks for the great feedback, it really helps me. I hope you’re all enjoying this as much as I am.
I also ready to add the logitech 3D force pro. Wait for the test version.
Good news for you and anyone else who wants to get their joysticks supported by FFB-Bridge.
This program is totally free (no email required even), and will run a set of tests on your hardware. After that, you can choose to upload the info to the public database.
This will help not just me (I can add your stick to FFB-Bridge), but anyone else who wants to build programs that support these old sticks.
No PII whatsoever, you get to see everything that’s uploaded before it submits, and you have to actively choose to share it. You can also just test your hardware and keep the report if you wish.
Public DB here → Force-feedback joystick hardware database · FFB Probe
Sample Report → Sample report — Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 · FFB Probe
Help me build the database for the whole community, AND potentially get your stick added to Ffb-Bridge.
Feedback channels remain the same- email feedback@ffb-bridge.com and the feedback form on Send feedback — FFB-Bridge
Love it! This was my goal
This old hardware is STILL amazing.
Logitech Force 3D Pro reported. One problem to report the not force feedback test of reporting values back didn’t work.
Great tool for easy reporting, tanks too @StarlessLion50 for this great idea to reanimate to FFB joysticks from the past.
