ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
I have a lot of my aircraft from MSFS2020 missing in MSFS2024.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
Alle these are completely missing from 2024.

These 3 AC from carenado appear in MSFS2024 Marketplace/My library as streamed, but they dosent show in freeflight aircraft library at all.

A lot of my planes from Aviator version are missing, let alone any older planes. What is going on?

It seems like they are disabled in content manager (the Addons) - however I have not been able to enable them… there seems to be no button?

Patch 3 removed one of my Aviator planes and I enable and it keeps saying restart sim then I do but then its back to disabled.

• I am having similar issues, I cannot enable the content, when I select the content I want to enable I do not have the “Enable” button to select. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times on the Xbox and same issue. I have paid for Aviator level and not able to utilize it. This started after the 1.2.7 update. How do I get all of the disabled content enabled again?

Same issue.
I’m not usually one to complain much about some things not working in the early days of a release, but the fact that I paid so much extra for the Aviator edition and those planes disappeared from my hanger and haven’t returned for more than a week is starting to make me mad.

They were there on day 1 up until about a week ago…
Help! how do I get them back please?

OK, so I might be getting somewhere. I went to My Library and found a bunch of missing stock aircraft under a heading of BASE CONTENT.
When I click on an aircraft the sim tells me: “This item requires the following items(s) to run:
FS-BASE-AIRCRAFT-COMMON”
What it DOESN’T DO is tell me how to do that!
Anyone know the next steps please?

Yes, pretty much.

I am missing five aircraft from 2024 that I have in 2020. 1) The Experimental Darkstar. 2) The Ornithopter. 3) North American OV-10 Bronco. 4) Flysimware’s Learjet 35A, which I purchased through the Marketplace. 5) Taog’s Hangars UH-1H, purchased through Marketplace.

Additional note on the UH-1H, it shows up in My Library, I’ve flown it, however about a week ago it stopped showing up in Freeflight’s Change Aircraft listing.

Items 1-4 don’t show up in My Library or Change Aircraft and never have.

[update: I deleted the OV-10, UH-1H and Learjet from 2020. Started 2024 then logged out. I then went to 2020, redownloaded all three aircraft then shut it down. Restarted 2024 and got a message that my 2020 aircraft were now available. Looked in the library and all three were there, ready to be enabled. I did so, then shut 2024 down and restarted it…again…I seem to do that more than actually flying…anyhow I now have the Learjet and the OV-10 available to fly in freeflight, however, the Huey, while still in the library, is still not available in freeflight.]

I’ve not gotten the error, but if you took the FS-BASE-AIRCRAFT-COMMON folder from FS2020 (it’s in the One Store folder) and put it in the FS2024 /Packages / Official2020/ One Store folder, and then tried the sim, does that help?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Zendesk suggested I try uninstall/install and that worked. I found out another thing, I think. I bought the Aviator version. All the ‘lesser’ versions are included in it, so I think clicking on it was launching the base version - so none of the other aircraft. Now, I log into the Xbox app and all the versions are listed in my library, so I make sure to launch the right one!

So I need to install msfs2020 in order to access that file… uh uh…
Or it will be available later online what you have purchase and will shown on Store / My Planes for example?

The Huey is the same story for me …I’m sure I had it a couple of weeks ago in 24 (not 100% though) …but now despite saying streamed in my library content is nowhere to be found in my 24 Free flight aircraft!

No, you won’t have to install FS2020.
You should be able to get these directly from the Marketplace when it reopens.

Same for me. The huey was streamed and working a couple of weeks ago, but now it’s not showing in the freeflight aircraft selection. I’ve disabled it, shut down, re-enabled it, but no luck. Still says streamed, but it’s not there.

Same thing here but on Xbox :frowning:
