MIssing essential packages?

Interesting that your Game Bar version is more recent. I checked this morning & all my store apps were up-to-date. Just checked after reading your post & see 2 new updates: Movies & TV & Xbox Game Bar Plugin! Updated, but the Game Bar version is still the same - maybe a reboot is needed…I’ll confirm later.

[ Edit: 24-hrs & 1 rebooted PC later, I’m still seeing the game bar version reported as 7.124.5142.0.]

[ Edit 09/17/24: the current versions on my PC are now:
2409.1001.5.0 (Xbox)
23.92.22001.0 (Gaming Services)
7.224.9031.0 (Game Bar)

I try to keep the current version listed in this post.

For MS Store versions

At first, installs were done via MS Store.
Now, everything is done via the Xbox app.

MS changed it.

I have the same version as SmotheryVase665 - so I will try to update the Game Bar version. Unfortunately I will not be able to check the progress on this until September but will post my experiences then.

Currently having this problem, but did not seem to solve anything for me…

didnt work, there is simply no day passing where not a single error message (everytime a different one) occurs on my boot up. I got way to many games, but yet this seems to be the only one with these issues- I don´t get how this launcher can be so buggy and lacking. I hope that you´re gonna improve it for MSFS 2024 . When I already spent 60€ on your game I don´t want to need a Computer Schience Degree to get your game runnig. It´s not my job but yours thats why we pay you…

We do not get paid.
We are tasked to keep the forum organized, and we do try to offer help when we can.

Well, yet you are representing Microsoft on this Forum, you might just inform the people that you know over at Asobo or Microsoft that get paid for the game, that there are thousands of people getting grey hair because of their unsufficient work. Thats all, I did not intend to blame you, I just don´t get why we gamers have such a hard time in todays world to get games that just… work and run as they should :smiley:

Were you aware this is a user to user forum, and is not intended for official support?
Have you submitted a support request?
You can do so from the “Support” tab at the top of every forum page, see “Submit a Request” when you are in that section.
MSFS Support staff will follow up on any request.
