missing building at lebl barcelona airport

start your flight at gate 179, for example at LEBL (el prat barcelona airport). there are no buildings attached to the walkways.

3rd-Party Addons: None, Community Addons: None
i7-12700K (No overclocking or undervolting), 32 GB 5200 MHz DDR5 CL40, Intel Arc 770 (16GB, v31.0.101.5445).
Graphics Tab: Full Screen 3840 x 2160 TAA, Render resolution - 100, AMD Fidelity - 150, VSync - On, FRL - 33% MRR (120 Hz), HDR10 - On, DX12B, TLOD @ 400, OLD @ 200, Motion Blur - Off, Other settings - all Ultra (Water Waves & Glass Cockpit Refresh Rate @ High).
Data Tab: Data Connection: All six options - On, Data Limit - Off, Bandwidth - Unlimited, Rolling Cache - Off
Developers Tab: Developer Mode - Off
MSFS Version: MS-Store, Standard, plus All World and City Updates

I’m having this same issue LEBL missing scenery (jetways with invisible buildings) - #2 by manolobiene So far I’ve only seen it on LEBL

Is there any timeframe for solving this kind of bugs? It’s been 2 months… and Barcelona is kind on a mayor hub in Europe…

Also, Barcelona was one of the premium airports sold as part of the Premium Deluxe game edition, wasn’t it?

Hi @Darcaem,
I can’t speak to the timeframe - that information would have to come from MS/AS.
Barcelona was not in the Premium Deluxe package. The airports were:

  • Denver International Airport (USA)
  • Dubai International Airport (United Arab Emirates)
  • Frankfurt Airport (Germany)
  • Heathrow Airport (United Kingdom)
  • San Francisco International Airport (USA)

And these airports, which were included in the Deluxe SKU:

  • Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (Netherlands)
  • Cairo International Airport (Egypt)
  • Cape Town International Airport (South Africa)
  • O’Hare International Airport (USA)
  • Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (Spain)

HI! Just here to remember this has not been fixed yet.

Also, I see it is marked as “feedback-logged”, not has “bug-logged”. Does this mean anything? Last time I was in the airport IRL I can positively affirm there were in fact two terminals and jetways were not standing in the tarmac connected to the void. Isn’t it a bug worth solving?

I got the LVFR version and now I see why there is a mountain where the terminal should be - the main section of terminal 1 is a big, round, grey sphere :slight_smile:

Hi @Darcaem,

I suspect the entire test team is working on MSFS 2024, so would not expect to see this bug tested by them until after MSFS 2024 is released, and more likely (due to the holiday season) not until sometime in 2025.

Yeah, that’s what I suspected… :frowning: Thanks for your clear answer, I mean it.

It’s just me being frustrated about the sim that “will be supported for 10 years”… I would understand it for a small airport, but not for the 7th busiest airport in Europe (List of the busiest airports in Europe - Wikipedia)
