On XBox the workaround I found after loading a saved .flt is to [ESC] the flight and then Restart [HOME] from the menu. The loading time is minimum and the toolbar is accessible again.

Hey everyone, I think I found some sort of solution/work around?
So long story short:
I loaded up my saved flight, and have this issue of course.
So then I tried the Slew method (didn’t even activate that when trying), so I simply opened the Paus or Options menu, and made sure to reload my flight saved flight again. Once it loaded in, I opened the Pause or Options menu again and selected “Restart” (which is the option at the bottom there), once I confirmed this and it reloaded my same saved position, my toolbar, VFR maps etc all worked normally again ^^
Hopefully, this helps someone out there ^^
Forgot to mention, you’ll have to redo your Fligtplan etc but at least it works that you can continue from where you parked off or so ^^
Restarting flight fixed it for me (PC), however there are more issues I am facing after loading saved flight:
Weather cannot be changed
If you saved flight using real time & weather, loaded flight will use past time as a reference instead of live time (and weather).
External view indicators
Indicators such as altitude, speed, fuel etc. are not visible in external camera view.
Any help is appreciated
I also struggle with bad function of save and load.

My current work around is using Quick Resume.
Just leave a game. Dont manualy quit a game. After switching xbox again (next day) it opens up the game with aircraft and everyting as i left it.
To get weather, time, traffic refresh and working. 1)Before I left a game before. I switched weather to clear sky, made a manual change of time so it was not in live time mode, and switched off traffic.
2)Than after I opened game next day. And after xbox says something like"connection to online services has been restored". I put weather, time, traffic back into live modes. I try to make sure weather is not remembering yesterdays weather. I toggle some different weather themes and than back to clear sky. And after that into live weather. Sometimes I have seen weather to update after more minutes. Not sure if this little additional step is helping. But in the end seems working for me. So I continue my flying from position I left my aircraft yesterday.

Which is the problem exactly?
Toolbar completely disappears when loading a saved flight.
If you are referring to the tool bar at the bottom of the world map screen..I confirm that , it disappears when you press Fly. However ,this also happen when you do and load a new flight plan on world map. After pressing Fly the tool bar disappears. This is not a problem for me. The main concern is related to the drop down menu with reduced functionalities and other issues after loading a saved flight.
If you are using a PC this is likely the result of a corrupted SPB file. Each saved game will have one. You will need to navigate to the saved games folder to see it. It will not appear on the save / load game window.
You may be able to correct it if you save a game at the same location (in the sim ie starting point) and then rename the new SPB file to your old file name.
The SPB file contains the conditions of the menu bar and key file locations. If it is corrupted some sim functions will not work. Renaming a new SPB only works some of the time.
To prevent a corrupted SPB wait when you save the file try not to do any actions on your computer until the save file window disappears, and the main menu options reappear.
