Description of the issue:
Finished a 2 hour mission, pulled into parking, hit the brakes. The moment I stopped, “An unexpected error occurred”

Just had this issue after an hour and a half of flying just as I was about to decent. This kind of takes motivation away from playing career mode when at any moment all progress is just lost. They need to add some form of save points in to missions so you don’t get punished by the simulators instability.

• Yes. Was doing a tornado recording mission and skipped to landing. Upon loading the game would present the error.

After ~20h of gameplay in career mode I face a very similar issue:

Reproducable after choosing an VIP fly (LFAY to EGHI with an own Cirrus Vision Jet) the problem will occur during the start up provedure. Sometimes eben while holding short before entering the runway. Now, the error even occurs in different jobs… so now it’s unplayable

REPRODUCTION STEPS:

seems it connect to an airport issue, all my [309-400-00201] happened nearby an airport, twice near VOR(BJZ), i did the same middle cargo mission twice, and both crashed there.
it seems i can Reproduction it, once it happen to one mission.

and once near YBCV airport, i did a medical transport mission.

both use Simulation rate X3. and some use fuel add, (distance too long, 5hours, that 208B can’t fly so long)
all happened in air.

short followup: Unfortunatly all missions are bugged now. Tried different missions and types with different planes. Gamebreaker with error code 308-400-00209 !

Wild guess: Maybe it has something to to with the reputation system. In a previous flight I got a B or A rating, but my overall status got an upgrade to max S. May the system get’s confused for (in-flight) penalties/bonuses while the total rep is in an overflow.

Edit: the assumption could be correct. After having a deliberately really bad flight with one of the employee missions my rep was tanked and afterwards I was able to do a formaly unplayable mission. Why own and employee planes could be treated differently… well it doent make sense to me…

Just had this error way into my 1H30 cargo mission with my own airplane in career mode.

This is completely unacceptable! How can this happen in a game like this!? This is not some indie developer with a short budget. Errors like this CANNOT happen. Was any QA done to prevent things like this?

How can I continue playing when it’s not guaranteed that this won’t happen again? It’s completely demotivating. I can’t trust the game at this moment. It’s making me wasting my time and it’s not fun.

When will we have a game that’s launched without major problems? Those days might be long gone, I’m afraid. We are simply paying testers.

Waiting to see this fixed as soon as possible.

Happened to me three times half way through the climb up to cruising altitude, I’d get this error on three different missions, this is after already not being able to play for two days due to launching career mode = CTD. Ontop of already having to deal with crashing into invisible obstacles and failing missions due to stupid bugs, causing my reputation to take massive hits, career mode still unplayable, might have fixed the crash but this is even worse since we waste even more time attempting to do missions only to have it kick us out.

Happend to me after perfect 3h flight and landing and taxiing to an airport in the alps, cant see which one exactly now. So frustrating…

Another flight ruined

I think it has to do with the time. When I start a flight at night and it gets to 00:00 a few minutes later the error occurs and it disconnects. No game has ever made me LOSE so much time

Keeps hapening to me while doing VIP charter, sadly its a game breaking bug that needs to be fixed as soon as posible, ruining the experience completely

Same on Xbox SX - can’t start any mission unexpected error and i can’t chose any plane to start mission (i have 4). Can’t play career.
