ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
This is exactly the same issue as reported in that thread (it marked as fixed, which is not true) : Missions Cannot Be Completed Due to Stuck Mission Step

VIP charter mission stuck at step “fly to Airport” step, no ATC communications during approach and landing and com1 menu is stuck at “ground services” without the ability to select airport’s ATC for landing procedures. After landing i see blue markers leading to general parking, but no “hold short” interactions and no penalties for entering taxiway without announcement. After stopping engines at parking and exiting (Shift-C), it showed “Hold Alt-N to skip to Descent” and after using this option it went to black screen for a minute and then spawned aircraft with turned off engines mid-air approaching airport. Then, landing again mission unstuck and after landing, taxi and parking, mission is finally complete, but I lost all the no-skip bonus for 4 hours flight and only received 1 million instead of 3.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

Several times. Might be related to specific airports, especially around the Alps. (Encountered at LSZR.)

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Take VIP charter mission from USAA (Sarov) to LSZR

  2. Fly to LSZR and start approaching. ATC interactions doesn’t appear and it’s stuck in “Fly to LSZR”

  3. Land and leave runway. No ATC interactions again and mission step shows “Fly to LSZR”

  4. Stop engines and exit aircraft. Alt-N Skip option will appear. Click Alt-N and spawn in the air approaching airport.

Update: It seems that this bug is connected not only with specific airports but also with broken ATC comms. See other posts below.

The closure comment of the mentioned report does not say that all similar issues have been fixed and is requesting to create a new report per mission step having this issue (I assume to better track them until resolution):

Today this bug happened in Mumbai airport.
When i tried to “workaround“ and exited aircraft on a parking, then clicked Alt-N to ”skip to descent”, it spawned me too far away and mission failed.

Another bugged airport - VCCC

I landed successfully and saw “stop after holdshort“ message, but also communication requirement “contact tower“, and as soon as i clicked Enter accepting it, mission bugged out and “holdshort“ message disappeared replaced by “Fly to VCCC“. When i exited aircraft, there was no Alt-N option and no way to finish the mission, so I just Ctrl-F4.

Also during approach IFR comms interfere with landing procedures asking to gain altitude and there was no option to cancel IFR. I think bugged IFR comms cause these bugs.

I nave the same issue. Happened for heavy cargo and passanger airliner missions as well. Really annoying because several hours are gone with 0 progress.

I tried this mission once again, but during approach I didn’t interacted with ATC comms and not doing so prevented bugged step “fly to VCCC” to appear. I successfully landed and finished mission.

It seems this bug is connected with broken ATC comms.
