After 12 days same problem

Still the same here :frowning:
however got my star without statues :sweat_smile:

Statues also missing for me, only slight shadows of them.
But picture counted for World Photographer.

I would expect to see this sort of thing in National Lampoons Pacific Vacation.

Statues not there, even today after SU1. Very disappointed.

Testing SU 2 beta - no Moai there.
I remember, when MSFS 2024 was launched, the statues have been visible. There were even single heads lying or standing around the coast close to the airport. So what has happened and why don’t they bring them back?

This isn’t specific to PC, it’s the same on XBOX X and S. No statues, even after SU1. However, it is still possible to validate the mission.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

I was in the process of filming the world and I reached the Moai statues and I couldn’t find them. I noticed that there are even people like me who have the same problem on YouTube (read the comments in the video). by the way, this place causes severe lag.

i don’t have anything in my community folder

Did anyone check with Dev mode if the statue assets are technically there, just not visible for some reason? I’m away from my PC so can’t do it myself.

It is not a secret but they walk (although i dont know if they swim), could it be that they hiding somewhere from the rock where they are carved from.

SU2 released and these statues are already missing.

It’s 13 July 2025 and they’re still missing for me - anyone able to see them?

No, and with “just” 26 votes my guess is that this will not change within the next few years. The devs are currently mostly working through bugs with way over 100 votes, and sadly there’s still a lot of them.
Who knows, maybe some scenery add-on will add its own statues instead (or already has done so, I’m not monitoring the market for such things).
