if there are random CTDs when launching the game or when entering the main menu, try setting the maximum temperature limit of your graphics card to 70 degrees and the problem will be solved normally
I did try that an monitored the temperture. GPU max was at 59c for my last on a 3070.
Are you on Windows 11? If so you could try this as there is a .Net issue from the latest patchday around:
Hello everyone!
As a Windows 11 user I faced some issues the last weekend as an application related to my soundcard did not start anymore out of the sudden. After a short research I came across an issue related to the last Windows 11 Update KB5013943 breaking the .Net installation. As parts of MSFS seem to rely on the .Net framework I’d suggest you to do a quick reinstall of this components as explained in this video:
[FIX - KB5013943 update breaks .NET applications - FIX]
Also i…
okay. so it’s not the temperature that is in question apparently.
have you tried deleting your CONTENT.XML file in your MSFS folder? it will be rebuilt the next time the game is launched because there may still be residues of old addons, or decorations in it. Take the test and let me know if it helps
Ok, changes made and Content.xml is deleted… I’ll test this tomorrow.
Thank you both!

i have the same issue… any known fixes or workarounds to resolve this issue?
The most helpful thing done thus far was to set my PC to max performence. However, the game still figures out new ways to fail.
