I thought there was a thread like this but I couldn’t find it (if it exists).
So… what are your most anticipated aircraft currently in development that are due before the end of 2024? This is NOT a “wishlist” - this is something confirmed to be in active development by a developer ideally in 2024 (maybe early 2025?)
My list so far in no particular order:
- Miltech - Lockheed U-2
- Tac Flight - Bell OH-58D Kiowa Warrior
- Blackquare - Beech Starship
- Anoxos - Mil Mi-2 Hoplite
- Big Radials - Lockheed Jetstar
- FlyingIron - Boeing B-17
- Tukan - Ford 5AT Trimotor
- Rara Avis Sopwith Pup (not sure if he’s still planning this and if it would be 2024)
- Taog UH-1H
- Taog MH-65 (not sure if this would be 2024)

I already have more planes and helicopters than I can fly competently. Nonetheless I am looking forward to two similar helicopters by different developers:
- Taog‘s Hangar Bell 205
- Blackbird Bell UH-1
Hopefully both will be released in 2024 ![:crossed_fingers: :crossed_fingers:](https://forums.flightsimulator.com/images/emoji/twitter/crossed_fingers.png?v=12)

Taog’s is due any day/week now. It will include both the 205 and UH-1H. The Blackbird one, maybe by late late 2024.

Have they confirmed to be working on something for 2024? This thread is for confirmed projects due to be released by the end of the year (or maybe early 2025).
They’re tight-lipped over there… but it’s a safe assumption, that they’ll make or port something, in the next 18 months.
I thought that not presenting a specific aircraft wish, met thread requirements… I’ll try to do better…

Just Flight Tornado. I’m assuming it’ll be a bit of a better looker than the one in Tornado : Desert Storm from ‘93 that I loved…
PMDG 777 of course.

All I really want is Majestics Q400 but we won’t be seeing that for quite sometime.

I just want Blackbird’s DHC-3 Otter. They were pretty far into development but said it needed rework last year and have been silent ever since. Everything else is icing on the cake.

I’m in the same boat… I’d absolutely love a higher fidelity radial than the Beaver. It would make my life if someone like A2A made a radial with all the finicky engine management that real ones have.
It seems like they’ve gotten distracted by the military stuff more people seem to get excited about. Which I’ve never really gotten, if you wanna fly military planes why not play DCS and get the full experience? I impluse bought the FlyingIron F6F because the F6F is my favorite warbird but I just never really use it because what do I do with it?

I buy all the US Navy aircraft because I like to do carrier related flights - cats n traps.
I have DCS for combat flight profiles, but MSFS is fine for the non combat - formation flying and above mentioned carrier related flights. It will be better when proper air to air refueling is modeled maybe someday as that is another really important component to non-combat military flying. I’d love to have a KA-6D and other A6 Intruder variants in MSFS. I flew the wings off of the old FSX Intruders from Razbam

Seriously, any of the aircraft I’d most like to see (a high fidelity Twin Otter and an HS.748) are not even announced by anyone. The Yak-40 that was announced a year ago ago was announced dead by the developer last summer… Yeah…
What do you do with any plane? Fly it.
DCS doesn’t have the same world that MSFS has. I love old warbirds but I absolutely suck and WW2 dog fighting (tried it in IL2). Being able to fly these classics in MSFS is great. I’m not a jet fighter kinda guy, but I imagine it’s much the same for those that like them.
As for radials. Maybe check out the planes from Big Radials? Also, if you’re on PC, the Denarq mod for the Beech 18 has some pretty intense engine management.

The Fenix A319 and A321. Definitely this year.
Inibuilds A350. They said this year but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was 2025.
