Building a Cessna 172/182 motorized trim wheel compatible with the FFair force feedback system. When bus voltage is present, you can use buttons (typically located on the yoke). It can also be operated manually. If the autopilot is enabled, the trim wheel synchronizes with the simulator’s trim. This ensures that when you disconnect the autopilot, the aircraft remains properly trimmed. It integrates seamlessly with the FFair system and its “force trim” mode, allowing you to trim the aircraft just like in the real world.
