Mouse/clickspots stop working in VR when returning from Menu

On my end i have a workaround and i think i know what the problem is. The mouse cursor isn’t confined to the game window, as soon as it gets outside of it and you click, the game window gets out of focus, making all the interactable areas and objects inactive.
To get around this very annoying issue, you can bring up the Steam Dashboard - go to Desktop mode - and simply click the game window to make it focused again. Close the Dashboard with the controller button and the cockpit will be clickable again. Until it happens again…

This is a different bug to than the on this thread.

Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?

• When my mouse stop to work on the plane, i press ESC, them whem i come back from the menu the mouse start to working again.

how is this not yet logged as a bug? this is constantly an issue. mouse loses focus, you have to go in and out of VR etc to regain mouse clicks.

If I do this, the bar and open windows get invisible.

I just made a report here outside of the VR topic. So far it seems random to me when then mouse can escape. I saw it sticking until I ended a flight and then it was unbounded.

So this topic is now tagged with: „Feedback logged“

I would love to see this changed to: „Bug logged“. And some statement if this bug will be addressed in one of the hotfixes promised for next week and the week after.

As it is, playing FS2024 in VR is possible, but in an ugly, immersion breaking way (unless you only fly the Kitty Hawk, where no mouse interaction is necessary :joy: )

Same issue

Switching to VR and its almost impossible to use the toolbar again. When it reappears, it is all disproportionate and out of position. You need to hover the controllers a bunch of times near the eye level to make it appears.

Switching back to 2D mode, I’m not able to access the toolbar anymore, only in VR.

I can move my mouse around the cockpit…but the mouse will not interact with anything. It will interact with the settings menu…but not any cockpit buttons.

Quest 3 here too…mouse doesn’t interact with any cockpit buttons but works in the settings menus.

Feeling the same after trying my first flight yesterday. I now understand why so many people said they are just going to to MSFS 2020.

The menu in 2020 was so ■■■■ intuitive. Also…when I go to adjust VR graphics settings in 2024 certain settings like object level of details will say “unavailable”. I have to restart the sim to get it to show up again.

I have same issue with my pimax crystal .
Clickspots aren’t working in VR and ribbon disappears.
I can get the ribbon back by switching to 2D .
It will be nice to be able to use career mode in VR but the mission window is not visible.
Don’t know if it makes any difference but I have the game pass version.

I´ve the same issue.
