[MSFS 2020] Backported - Pilatus PC-24 - Not a Technical Support Thread

The PC-24 got backported today 09-DEC-2025.

No walkaround components (i.e., pins, covers, etc.) naturally. The interiors match the 2024 versions, all the way down to the emergency medical equipment and/or seats.

Seems to have all the liveries including the Air Ambulance which is popular.

Big Caution: As with the backported PC-12, Working Title omitted the ability to load the flight plan created at the World Map into the Honeywell ACE. Simbrief appears to still be available (I’m not a user though so I didn’t test it). Otherwise, you’ll have to load the plan by hand but the good news is ATC recognizes you as an IFR flight and provides stock services accordingly.

Nitpicks - it’s a backport, so everything that is still not working correctly from the 2024 version also carried over. All those individual controls like buttons and three way toggles on the electrical panel, the Bleed Air switch, the lower MFD, all present and accounted for.

To me the biggest fail is still the FMS Speed Schedule. It’s still broken. I keep a copy of my notes for Load 5 of the ACE system and just use Manual Speed, but this detracts badly from a jet that’s known for it’s high automation capabilities.

Overspeeding at cruise? Yep. Even though the plan says .74M, you will occasionally barberpole and draw the audio warnings. Sigh.

Graphically, it’s not imposing a big penalty under 2020, but I have a beefy enough rig now with some growth potential that running it at 60fps occasionally drops down into the high 40s on a complex scenery but otherwise is snappy in the high 50s.

I’m able to import flight plans via Simbrief for the PC-12 NGX, seeing that this plane uses the same avionics I’m guessing I can do the same with this aircraft? For me these planes are awesome deals as I own the Premium Deluxe version of FS2020, only paying 12.99 CAD for the PC-12 NGX and 16.99 CAD for the PC-24 is a bargain! That and the fact that I absolutely love business jets.

In 2020 the PC-24 has an annoying, constant porpoising (up and down) movement/oscillation when using the AI pilot.

Has anyone else noticed that the cabin lights are always one, the spoilers to not deploy, or cannot toggle on the static elements?

It’s the 2020 version, not 2024. There are no static elements.

Now - part of the problem with the speedbrakes is that it’s not tied to the spoilers axis. So that’s an issue. You can however manipulate it using the Virtual cockpit lever, but that’s very inconvenient.

Yep. That one is definitely broken.

Doesn’t Carenado do any quality control before releasing aircraft?

If you compare the two PC-24s in each sim, the 2020 one got backported with most of the minor and major issues intact. I guess that’s an answer right there.
