the title already says it, the HUD of the A400M(iniBuilds) is always on after I’ve started the GPU. It doesn’t matter if the combiner is in the lowered or stowed position, the HUD is always projected onto the windscreen of the aircraft. Is there something I could do in the settings to change that, or will this be fixed in a future update?
Thank you for this report. We’ve moved your topic into the User Support Hub.
The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.
If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.
If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.
All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.
The following is not a rhetorical question. Is really no one experiencing this behavior with the A400M from IniBuilds in MSFS 2020? Because if that’s so the problem has to be on my side. It would be really helpful if people that use the A400 in MSFS 2020 could tell me if they have, or don’t have this issue with the HUD.
This is a peer-to-peer support sub-forum. So it’s entirely voluntary by the community. I don’t know the uptake numbers for the ports to 2020 but given how poorly the A400 has performed for me, I sure wouldn’t want to pay extra for that experience in the older sim. I suspect many folks are of the same opinion and are sitting on their money wisely.
I also have the same issue, along with an even more frustrating issue where whenever I try and input a new waypoint after an existing one in the aircraft’s computer, I get a complete WASM crash where the whole plane breaks and becomes unplayable without restarting.
I was actually considering to switch from MSFS 2020 to 2024 for this aircraft and the H225 from the HPG. I was so happy when they’ve announced the A400M’s 2020 release. After I’ve heard not so many good things about the H225(in terms of its systems) and could experience the problems the A400 still has first hand, I’m glad I didn’t switch. Saved me a lot of stress and money. Still sad though because I really love those aircraft and they look awesome in MSFS.
I did wonder whether the same issues would still be persistent in the MSFS 2024 version of the A400M as this was what it was originally made for? Either way is a big shame because if you put the bugs aside, this is a great aircraft - just wish it was more reliable in game.
