Today when starting msfs up i got this problem. Wants me to insert disc. I have searched here and follow all the steps but no luck. This is the first time I got this message since i started to fly msfs 2020. I have a digital license. Anyone else whit this problem today?

I finally did a repair of the sim in xbox settings and now it works. Very strange.

Hi, I battled this problem but no luck. Until i opened xbox and msfs flightsimulator. To the right were is says PLAY there is 3 dots. click there, then click MANAGE, In the new window click on FILES. At the bottom there says VERIFY and REPAIR. Thats what I did and it worked. Sorry for my english. If you donĀ“t understand I can try to take pics.

I tried, but it does not work for me, but ok our installations might be different.
I am on beta ms-store version .18.
May be wait for su 10 and until then enjoy x-plane 12 beta.

Have the same problem, the suggested solutions in this thread didnt help me unfortunately. Perhaps because my flightsim is installed in a different drive and not in default location.
Mine is installed on D:drive. It is strange this phenomena. For some it works ad for some not. I hope you figure it out though. This is not what we have to struggle with when we start up our sim.
Guys, can you confirm the version of Gaming Services on Windows MarketPlace?
In the market, I updated the game services, then restarted the pc and the problem disappeared
I tryed to update game service but did not work for me.
For the first time ever, Iāve just had this happen. I canāt seem to fix it eitherā¦ Iām on SU10 Beta here and Gaming services has updated a several minutes ago. Now i get āInsert Diskā to continueā¦ You know it really just seems to be one thing after another with this sim
And for me the problem returned. Can not get into the game whatever I try. Very strange indeed.

It worked once , with 5.something gaming services , but it updated again and that was the end ā¦
It is back at 6.xxxx and wont work ā¦
So do we uninstall gaming services every time we play . . . .
EdIT: Can confirm doing this before running the sim it works , Powershell as admin

I got the darn problem back again today. I did what i did last time but didnĀ“t help today. I just opened insider xbox hub and left the beta. restarted my pc and now it works again. Feels like you have to different things to get the sim started
As I wrote before I got the message insert disc back. I tryed to uninstall gaming service but uninstall option is greyed out here, stranged. So i did what helped me monday evening. I clicked those 3 dots in xbox app next to microsoft flightsim, clicked on MANAGE, then FILES and VERIFY REPAIR and that did it. I guess I have to do that everytime I start up msfs til they found a solution.

Did not work for me, i have tried everything i possibly can, but no luck. So i cancelled my Game Pass renewal until this will be fixed.
