I am hoping the update will push more work through to the GPU.

in case you not limit somewhere your GPU load manualy ( vsync, setting, … ) then may be:

The users just use the Taskmanager to check the GPU load. But the Taskmanager use normaly only the “3D” Graphics engine to show the GPU load.
