Open the Xbox app.
Then go to the app’s Settings and click on About.
Take a screenshot of that window and include it in your reply.

Next, open the Xbox Insider Hub app.
Click on Previews, then scroll down so the Joined section is visible.
Take a screenshot of that screen as well and attach it to your reply.

Hello,

thanks for your reply…here we go..

I dont have the insider hub installed..should i install it ??

Matthias

Nope.

Try mate.

1 Uninstall Gaming Services
2 Uninstall Xbox app
3 Restart PC

4 Open Microsoft Store app
5 In search bar type Xbox and click Xbox app

6 Install Xbox app

7 Open Xbox app

// Once you launch the Xbox app, please wait for the update process to complete, during which the Gaming Services will also be installed.

Hello,

i did all the Steps exactly like you describe.

After i start MSFS2020 the first time it asks to start in Save Mode and i did that.
It starts and did a Update.

Then i quit and start normal and it works !!

Thanks for you fast Help !!

Matthias

I am also having problems, probably not related.

I was doing some cleaning on what I thought was an older unused drive connected to my pc. I started to delete a folder called WpSystem but then realized that it had somewhat current dates and killed the delete (after some things were deleted and not put in recycle bin). Since then, msfs will not start. I’ve re-installed MSFS and followed the above instructions, but still no luck.

One other note, when i reinstalled, I got as far as choosing all my settings before it crashed.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The game tries to start but then crashes. The following is in Event Viewer

Fly safe mate.

For me the same,

it started 2 or 3 times and now its again not working !! ??

What is that now ??

Matthias

If you’re still having issues, please unmark the reply you marked as “Solution” and describe your current problem again, including more details about what’s happening now.

It is exactly describet in the opening Post and now the same problem is back again after i did all the Steps.

What happens here ?

You marked your own post as the solution, not mine - so I assume you know how to fix it?

Unless it was actually my reply that helped, in which case please clarify that. It’s important.

It WAS fixed, but now the same Probem is back again.

Well, if the problem is back, then it’s clearly not solved.
I don’t see that you’ve unmarked the “Solution”, though - and if it’s still marked, that means either you don’t have the problem anymore or you know how to fix it yourself.

So please unmark it if you still need help.

is the biggest problem if the post is marked or not ??

anyways, i unmark it after you wrote it. Please have a look.

But better would be a permanent solution then a endles discussion if a post is marked

I get that a permanent fix would be best, but sometimes these issues need ongoing troubleshooting.
Marking solutions just shows what works for now.

Restart PC and then send a new screenshot showing the versions of Gaming Services, Game Bar and the Xbox app.
